Halloween revellers find severed head in Edinburgh

People out enjoying Halloween night were shocked to discover a severed head in Edinburgh.

Some revellers in the Cowgate area of the city thought it was a Halloween prop, but Police Scotland have confirmed the head actually belonged to a 74 year old man who was hit by a bus.

So it turned out to be even more Halloweeny than some people thought...

I wonder how long the fella was conscious for after his head was detached from the rest of his body. He probably got quite a shock upon realising the dire situation he was in.
