Fans of hockey fights might be praising the chutzpah of Michael Cammalleri as he took on #46 for the Bruins when the latter dropped his gloves prompting Mike to follow suit. Mike took a blow to the eye for his efforts. Score is 3-2 for the Habs midway thru the 2nd.

4 - 2 Canadiens at end of second period. Gionta scored the fourth goal for the Habs. Go Canadiens!

I only watch the Habs through news clips , they seem younger and hungier this year. Tho they lost the game before i think , they had debth of character to come from behind and tie it , before losing. I like that. hope they have enough steam after the christmas holidays , they have a habit to idle after

Their game against the Flyers was something to see, Bart. After not doing much in the 1rst, the Canadiens came out in the 2nd and ruled the period, IMHO. The energy and determination they showed against the Flyers was worthy of all the cheers from their fans. That they played so well against, arguably, the best team in the East, was a testament to their coaching and individual will to keep coming back.

I was glad to see that they held off the Bruins to win their first game in four outings. Right on Canadiens!
