On 14th June 2017 a huge fire engulfed a residential tower block in the London Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. In scenes reminiscent of 9/11, people were seen at the windows calling for help. The blaze killed 72 people, making it the deadliest fire in Britain since 1988.

Now, over 20 firefighters who battled the Grenfell Tower blaze have been diagnosed with terminal cancer.
