darkbeaver, you would feel like a god doing what the fisherman is doing up top, the smell of the salt, the visible sea bottom, the warmth of the waters, Oh my god!

I had my heart set on Greece. But, my Celtic skin and my sensitivity to heat and humidity, ended up ruling it out as far as options for our trip this summer. So, we ended up choosing the French Riviera instead. Still hot, but, cooler than Greece that time of year.

I love all French wine, Yes the French Riv is a butiful place as well. Southern France is breath taking as well.

I travelled all of Europe and Greece was one of my fave's! Crete was amazing! I also enjoyed Portugal, and Spain

Me too , and also it would be fantastic to walk where the great philosphers once walked, to go to the museums and see the art, the ruins.- isn't it curious how we in Canada, being such a new country are fasinated by the old world. Iv'e talked to people from the old world who are just as fasinated to come to Canada and walk where no one has walked before them.

Greece is great. We had our honeymoon on Symi, And have been to Paros, Santorini, Rhodes and next should be Naxos. Cyprus is good as well but very commercialized now.
