Reality glasses? You can borrow them if you'd like. She had ample of time and opportunity to roll up her window and for her or her daughter to get his plate number.

She says she could see his delight and assessed that he was enjoying himself but never knew the pissed off look mean't that he was pissed off.

This isn't a unique incident and why (if you Google it) you'll a plethora of information on how to protect yourself from violence and all of them say roll up your windows, lock your doors and shut your pie hole.

It's what a smart person would do.

You're ascribing to her qualities of speed you believe yourself to have. Many many many people who find themselves in violent situations do not respond in the way that those not in that situation say they should.

You can google that if you like.

Regardless of why her window was down, the other driver escalated it far more than it should ever go, and throwing the lit cigarette onto her should be considered assault.
