Governor General Receives Credentials

Tuesday will present an opportunity for Canadians to renew and refresh our diplomatic relationships with four nations, as Her Excellency the Right Honourable Michaëlle Jean C.C., C.M.M., C.O.M., C.D., the Governor General of Canada, will be receiving the credentials of four new ambassadors to Canada. The event is to take place at Rideau Hall, in the Ballroom, at ten o’clock. As our vice-regal representative of Her Majesty the Queen of Canada, Her Excellency will be meeting with these four diplomats:

• His Excellency Bhoj Raj Ghimire,
  Ambassador-designate of the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal
• His Excellency Francisco Carlo Escobar Padreschi,
  Ambassador-designate of the Republic of Panama
• Her Excellency Biljana Gutić-Bjelica,
  Ambassador-designate of Bosnia and Herzegovina
• His Excellency Manuel Schaerer Kanonnikoff,
  Ambassador-designate of the Republic of Paraguay
