I noticed that during the Martin government, Global always criticised the government. They were even smiling when the house fell in November 2005. Now, they keep on reporting about the things HARPER is doing and praising him. This bias needs to stop immediately.

Is all praise of a conservative government wrong? What specifically don't you like about the Harper government?

You're kidding right?

They killed all the important prgrams, rejected Kyoto, rejected Kelowna,.........

Asper the Global Boss must be taking too much aspirin to be so blinded by Conservative evangelical lies.

Yep, I am glad we got out of the Kyoto Accord.

And look:

CTV and CBC are Liberal-Biased, and Anti-Harper, maybe its nice to have an alternative?

Kevin Newman hasn't always been pro-Harper, one time in his blog he criticized Harper for not attending some AIDS convention awareness program in Toronto.

Global is like Canada's FOX. Global has a great relationship with FOX in the USA.

And Global almost created FOX News Channel Canada, but backed out last minute.

Global offers an alternative and give Harper a fair shot when CTV and CBC will not.

Plus they are Canada's #1 newscast getting that sweet 5:30 slot.

don't worry about Dave. He's getting his.

my wife thinks CTV isn't bad. she might be right. don't watch much TV but I don't mind catching The National when Coyne and Hebert(sic?) are on. mainstream press is all stovepipe anyways.

I gave up on CBC: The National with Peter Mansbridge, years ago... way to pro-Liberal for me.

If I am home in time I generally take the Global Nation with Kevin Newman, but sometime CTV National News with Lloyd Robertson works out better timeslot wise.

CTV National News does not have much room to be biased... only 30 minutes, but that stupid political anaylst that Lloyd is friends with is really anti-Harper.

Its basically company politics.

LPoC - pro CBC
Canwest (Global) - Pro CPoC
CTVglobemedia (CTV) - Pro LPoC.

Well as I said CTV can be pretty neutral and I trust them.

But their political analyst imo is pro-Liberal/anti-Conservative.

But I generally like CTV because they are a close to neutral newscast.

Peter Mansbridge is about as neutral as it gets. I can't think of one news anchor with more integrity than he on either side of the border.

The National with Peter Mansbridge has a good last half hour IN DEPTH segment.

But for news I prefer CTV or Global... utterly despise Peter and the CBC news.

Lloyd and Kevin look trustable

I'm sorry, but imo Lloyd Robertson has the most integrity and the most neutral.

Peter Mansbridge has been a womanizer, married multiple times, not what you call "integrity".

Kevin Newman is good too, but hes to young to judge quite yet/

I've voted conservative the last 20 years but I appreciate the individual rights of liberal ideology. I think I'm about as neutral as it gets when it comes to newscasts and I don't see a damn thing wrong with the way Mansbridge conducts himself. If I were only looking for right leaning news then I might have a problem.

does boinking over your catch limit give you a pro or anti Liberal bias? I have no intention of finding out for myself.

If I knew what you were talking about I might answer? Is there another way of asking the question?

they all have thier own agenda ,doesnt matter whats good for Canada ,its people ,they try and do what they want and need for their little click ,,end of story --Time and Time again I have not seen enough done on any front --When they (whatever government is in )want something --its sure flys through the red tape fast --but if its something needed by the people ,we have to be on our death beds or threaten anarchy --we are taxed to death then lied to --have been for a long time ,,the only difference is the color and these days they change thier colors like there underwear

We are not governed we are led to believe we are governed atealest 70% of the time they are figuring out how to line thier pockets without us knowing in time --look at the infrastructure of our cities ---roads --heath care ---security --tons of money on security the government is all I see --why because they are so guilty they fear us and rebellion

The party means nothing anymore they all lie ,cant be trusted and need to be held accountable before not after

too little ---the motto looks like' all for the and none for them ' for a government that collects the amount of tax this one does it sure doesnt show it back

I should have quoted it in the first place. Sorry about that. The Mansbridge being a womanizer thing.
