WOW, I sure don't want your god. I think I'll stay with mine - you know, the one that says 'turn the other cheek' and who says 'forgiveness' is something we all need to do (try it some time - it actually makes you feel a lot better than having hatred in your heart) and the God that says to love one another.

Exactly.


Which is the problem I notice with a lot of Christians.


They say they're Christians, claim they follow Christ, and Christ supposedly brought the NT which was supposed to 'do away' with the old.


But yet they cling to the old like it's still supposed to be valid, to the point they use stuff from it to validate their BS.


Which makes me wonder which is it, because it's not supposed to be both.


And then there's the different versions...

Jesus did not bring the NT. The earliest gospel is believed to have been written about 90-100 yrs after his death. He also says that he does not come to change Mosaic (Jewish OT law) one bit.

He was an itinerant Jewish rabbi preaching to the Jews - period.
