exactaly, so woulden't it only be fair to drain more tax dollars from Canadians to subsidize a Conservative network as well as a hardcore feminist/leftist corp for the NDP followers? Its unfair, which is why government subsidy should be cut, the CBC should be forced to compete just like all other news networks.

are you blind? ok lets forget their regular news broadcasting, have you seen their anti-American documentaries? Have you forgotten how the Liberal party plays on anti-Americanism to win elections? Can you put two and two together? Not only this but if you would watch the CBC compared to other news media during election campaigns you would/should be able to see the Liberal leaning bias.

How would you know? Do you get 400 American channels? Or do you base everything on your reception of CNN? Here's a news flash for you, if the CBC is a so great, why doesn't it transmit outside Canada? You keeping all the good stuff for yourselves?

Jeepers creepers, you know the stuff everyone in America is just starting to question about Iraq? Well, none of the cheerleader media squads had the guts to ask any tough questions of Sir Dubya during his crusade. The US coverage has been a disgrace.

Few if any news media are completely unbiased, that is just the nature of the business. And it *is* a business, not a service.

Regardless, CBC does produce some quality programming and great documentaries.

And yes, George is hawt! :)

I can't believe we're arguing over a television station, I feel like I am 5 all over again. Here's my last comment, it's your tax dollars, so i can care less how you spend it.
