Girl, 18, charged with animal cruelty after dog found in dumpster

SARNIA, Ont. — An 18-year-old girl has been charged after a small injured dog was found wrapped in garbage bags in a dumpster Oct. 19.
The black and white dog had to euthanized. Investigators in this southern Ontario city determined it had been in the dumpster for several days.
The girl is charged with two counts of animal cruelty.
A 22-year-old man was charged in the case on Nov. 18.
