You great hairy lumbering Philistine, I suppose you believe in the irrelevance of Mozart and Bach, you must be mad as a hatter and tone deaf toboot to discount the power and relevance of musicians and music.

A great post .

its seems that the U>S under the guise of NATO wants to install its own military tools in a sovereign nation (Poland) to situate itself more militarily against Russia. We (Canada) didn't like it when the US proposed installing elements of the ill-fated STARWARS anti-missle system on Canadian soil. How is this any different?

As for the artist he has the full right to do and say whatever he wants. If he doesn't mind a drop in popularity, (which most certainly will happen) then more power to him.

That's an assumption many are making (without any knowledge at all in the matter), he might become much more popular with people after shedding association with the US. Is the US going to ban his music? His fans might agree with his move. The ones here saying he made a bad move most likely never heard of him before anyway. You are just puffing yourself up by pretending you know something to be a fact when you have no data on his media sales or on how his performances are doing outside the US. Some might actually think the US concerts were the whole deal for him.

NATO expansion is a horrible idea. I don't want to go to war with Russia over the Ukraine or Georgia.
