It's okay. Annual "shut downs" or "turn arounds" for maintence and refitting/expansion in mining and oil/nat gas will be over by June and pipelines are now back under construction since it's dry enough to dig.

Nobody seems to have mentioned the factors of winter, & road bans, etc...
that can and do affect indusrty at certain times of the year. The company
I work for runs its field operations to about Dec. 20th or so, and then shuts
them down to about mid-February or so. That fits the time-line in the O.P.

We roll out and set up before the raod bans come into play, and then work
our butts off doing production with no return until the road bans come off
and the product can be hauled. Hauled product means flowing cash, and
stay at that 'till about Dec. 20th again.

The energy/transportation/manufacturing corridor being built takes to time to build.

Are you talking about the tolled super-highway from Alberta to Mexico upon which all our resources will be shipped south to allow cheaper and inconsistent manufacture of goods by underpaid workers all for the exorbitant profits of US corporations?

I believe there will be an exit from this road in Texas where our oil and gas will fill the refineries only to be shipped back to us at a huge mark-up. Better start buying that 'cheap' $1.40/L gas now because when this project is completed it will be more like $2.40/L or more.

Seeing as Petros is from Regina, I'd assume he's referring to the
Inland Port being constructed west of Regina. It's being called a
"Global Transportation Hub" and is to be part of APGCI which is
the Asian-Pacific Gateway & Corridor Initiative....but I could be
wrong.
