Québec is french right? I have heard that in some parts of Canada you do speak french. But I do not know where it really is. And english is bigger than french right? But what about the parlament what do they speak do they both speak french and english to eachother and are they then using a intepreter. Or do you get teached both english and french at school?

Quebec's official language is French.
In greater Montreal area most people are bilangue. In rest of Quebec you can find some one easyli to be an interpret.
New Brunswik is the only bilangual province of Canada.
Mostly in federal governement poeple are bilingual.
If you want to be a Deputy, start learning both of languages from now.

Why?
Some can some can't - I don't know the extend to which it is taught in schools, anymore either. there was a huge difference between east and west, not so sure now.

I live in Toronto ,and took french in school for 3 years , but in high school it is only required to take french one year.that was almost 20 years ago, maybe its differnt now. I know some french but i cant speak in sentences , but i can read about 75 % of it.i think most people are the same , they all know a little bit , but cant have a conversation.
The only people in Ontario my age that speak french are from Quebec or took french imersion when they were kids.Well , except for Ottawa you will find a lot of billingual people there because it borders Quebec. All packaging and goverment services are in both languages. But it is not really a billingual country.
Parliament is conducted in both languages.
My girlfriend is from Montreal ,she , her familly and most of her friends are all billingual.
