I use both, I was caught in the middle of the change...doesn't much matter to me since both are fine but I prefer temp in metric, when I am cooking I tend to grab imperial but I'm flexible

Well, for a start , there was no Germany when the Saxons were around. Germany didn't come into existence until 18th January 1871. Next you're going to be telling me that the spear-chuckers which inhabited central North America hundreds of years ago were United Statesians.

As a matter of fact, there was a native group called the Fekowis. They were first encountered wandering the dense Eastern forests calling out "We're the Fekowi! ... We're the Fekowi!"
