Correct. Totalitarian regimes tend to use almost identical techniques in order to remain in power, which is why many people confuse totalitarian fascism with totalitarian communism.

BTW my reply to your post was not intended to be critical just informative. There are people out there who do actually confuse socialism and Nazism.

Best day of my life, from a general quality of life perspective. That flag symbolized our separation from Mother. It's one reason we can still have the Queen of England as our 'monarch' but still hold our head high around the world. All that oil and uranium doesn't hurt either.
Anyone that doesn't feel there is some pride to be had in being Canadian can always emigrate.

J K Galbraith - "Under communism, man exploits man. Under capitalism, it's the reverse". Could say that in generally any pair of political philosophies.

lol Might have something to do with the Nazi Party being officially the National Socialist German Workers' Party.
