I've never watched Fox news or Bill, but did see the fifth estate piece. Yeah I was really appalled too.

Yeah sure Bill is paid to be outrageous, no doubt, but unlike Jerry Springer, I think alot more people take Fox News to be factual news rather just entertainment.

I watch CTV newsnet a bit, and I get rather disgusted at some of the stuff thier starting to feature. I see them starting to follow some of the american news crap as well. (I just don't care about Micheal Jackson's day in court) Hail Peter Mansbridge!

We have FOX news on cable, but don't watch it. However, where ever there's a waiting room, FOX news is on. It's the only news folks take to be the "truth". CNN is refered to as "communist news network". PBS, with less govt funding and more corporate funding, is growing increasingly more conservative. So is NPR. Using the "free market" to control free speech. At least there still is the alternative press, but the "man in the street" in totally unfamiliar with it, and, if he was, he would not think it had any credibility.

The denial runs deep Ann is just a part of the problem. If anything she is civil compared to the deep rooted hate that is coursing through American politics today. In sticks and stones it is stated that the America has never been this divided since the civil war. The insanity is palpable, moderates are either a minority or have just given up.

It took a very long time for that to happen before it was shown to be wrong and even then there were 'dead enders' who just went deep and waited until another opportunity. The 'neo-con's are just such dead-enders who under Clinton were marginalized but with Bush got the drivers seat. Hersh: 'We've Been Taken Over by a Cult'
