Don't know about Italians, but on the East Coast of Canada and the US, signs that said 'No dogs or Irish Allowed' were common at one time.

im canadian but im pretty sick and tired about polish jokes, and i remember hearing back in the day the finnish lumberjacks like the japanese were segrated from the french in the work camps during ww2
