And make your point you did! Sorry, I just assumed that you had meant capital-L Liberal; many people on this Web site tend to confuse the two, lol, either through a failure to implement the proper grammar in their sentences, or through blurring the adjectives with the parties.
I thoroughly understand your point — however, I would not describe our current Opposition as one which would be advocating for the infringement of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, in particular pertaining to the freedoms of speech and expression.

I don't want to silence or censor Levant or the columnist, I just want to make sure people realize how ignorant they truly are.
Just like a political cartoon, maybe. But using the phrase "just another Indian" is insulting and ignorant. And everyone knows that, so there's no excuse except the guy deliberately wanted to be insulting and ignorant. Typically, real journalists don't do that sort of thing, but that rag isn't known for doing real journalism; it's known more for being the mouthpiece of the Harperites.
