"OTTAWA—Former privacy czar George Radwanski is now facing criminal charges in connection with the expenses he allegedly billed the government to sustain a globetrotting lifestyle of business-class travel, extravagant meals and posh hotels.

More than 2 1/2 years after Radwanski resigned in disgrace, the RCMP yesterday formally laid charges of breach of trust and fraud over $5,000. Court documents show identical charges have been filed against Arthur Lamarche, who served as Radwanski's chief of staff."

"The 2003 audit found that roughly $500,000 was mismanaged or squandered by senior managers at the privacy commissioner's office. The report identified three senior managers who also benefited from cash in lieu of vacation time that wasn't worked. Of the three, only Lamarche has been charged."

I bet he will be in a S**t storm because we all know what $500,000 is but not many understand that $150,000,000 is also money, or maybe the RCMP were just too busy during that ripoff.

It's just another fine example of the Culture of Entitlement.

I doubt it, he will plead guilty--cry before the judge and he will be sentence to probation ordered to make restitution. He, probley, has already declared bankruptcy so restitution will be mute. Slime bucket.
