That's fine until they start trying to force their religious beliefs on others and claiming those beliefs to be as valid as science is, Das.

It also sets a dangerous precedent because it undermines the validity of all science. If you look at the global warming deniers, they use the same catch phrases as the Creationists. How many times have you heard, "It's just a theory"?

You know, I read a little story about orangutans that chilled me. Too lazy to google it and give you the link but it was several weeks ago.

A family raised a baby orangutan but had to give it up after it bit off somebody's finger.

So they give it to a Californian wildlife group that takes in wild pets.

Well this family ends up missing their little orangutan and goes to visit it on its birthday.

And then horror exploded.

Apparently the other orangutans had already figured out how to get out of the cages but pretended they were still locked in, waiting for this family to show up again.

Well they did.

The Mother or the father had their nose bit off and crotch area eaten and fingers missing.

A person who works with Orangutans for a lifetime and who her self sustained multiple injuries over those years told a frightening story on how they think.

Envy, jealousy, power heirarchy, and the ability to hide one's thoughts is what she talked about at great length.

Sounds awfully familiar.

You know maybe in the far far future they will evolve into another species of human?? Just a thought. We already know another species of human inhabited the earth, so this could be a possibility???

  Lots of raven tricks around :p You just have to remember that true purpose of propganda is really to make you think that their ideas and thinking seem the norm.
It does not have to be proven.

Researches have also witnessed wild male chipanzee's beat female chipanzee's with sticks when denied something by that female. It was really horrifying to watch.

Yeah, Pea. Your right. I've heard the same thing myself. Turns out that some men of any species no matter how sophisticated or advanced they believe themselves to be still have some anger issues and are unable to control themselves.

The female chipanzee in this incident was actually protecting her baby. The male wanted to play with it and the mother obviously (and rightly so) didn't feel it was a good idea.

Sure. Some women too, but they're less likely to use direct physical violence. They'll con another man into doing it for them, or use poison, or emotional abuse, or other less direct methods. Let's not pretend men have a monopoly on bad behaviour; looks about even to me.

No, I'd never assume it was only men. I know better. However, as the chipanzee I was referring to was male which is why I posted about men and sophistication.

No new arguments, no new evidence. After all these years and this is the best ID has to offer? What more proof do we need that ID is bankrupt?

Your post was a pleasure to read.

Intelligent design...almost seems an oxymoron in relation to humanity.

It seems to me the human species is out of sync with nature. Suggesting - horror of horrors - that we're an aberrant species - not one of intelligent design.

No other species congregates and pays homage to god, or persecutes in god's name. No other species voluntarily consumes smoke - they, naturally, run from it. Not another species systematically poisons their life support system. Not another species on this planet rapes their young.
These behaviors are exclusive to humanity.

Every living organism on this planet is in balance with nature - except humanity. We're turning our garden into a cesspool...

If this is god's intelligent design - it's time for a new architect.
