England's women have retained their crown of European Champions by beating Spain in a nerve-jangling Euro 2025 Final in Basel, Switzerland, tonight.

The winners of Euro 2021 came up against World Champions Spain - who beat England in the 2023 World Cup Final.

England dramatically won the match on penalties to make it two successive Euros victories, and England are European Champions for another four years.

In the Euro 2021 Final, it was Chloe Kelly who won it for England - and amazingly she won it again for them tonight.

Thousands line the streets of central London as England's women have an open-topped bus parade

England have won a second successive Euros

65,000 people lined the streets of central London as the England women's team went on an open-topped bus parade to celebrate winning Euro 2025.

Sunday's victory against World Champions Spain is a SECOND-SUCCESSIVE Euros win for England, after winning Euro 2021. They are European Champions for another four years.

England's tournament win came despite losing their opening match against France.

After the bus parade, England re-lifted the trophy in front of thousands of fans at Buckingham Palace and their Dutch manager Sarina Wiegman - who has just won her THIRD-SUCCESSIVE Euros title - danced with her favourite singer Burna Boy.

England's Dutch manager Sarah Wiegman celebrates her THIRD-SUCCESSIVE Euros win - the latter two with England - with her favourite singer, the Nigerian Burna Boy, in front of Buckingham Palace.

A carnival atmosphere along the Mall and in front of Buckingham Palace - the main focal points for the British nation's mourning and celebrations for so long - took place this afternoon as England somehow beat World Champions Spain to retain their crown as European Champions...

It may be "only" the women's team, but the football-mad nation went crazy when England won the Euros for the second time

"We've won this, we've won this!"

England fans react as they win the Euros for the second successive time
