I can't wait to find out what really happened. Well I have enough patience that I don't need to make up stories.
Still, it would be interesting to know. Or maybe not?

Indeed, most people home schooling their kids are doing it for religious reasons. Not sure if all are fanatics though.

By not teaching evolution or teaching creationism as a scientific fact these parents and schools are only hurting their kids and in the long term the country itself. If a bunch of young people grow up scientifically illiterate or believing fairy tales to be literally true they're going to have a hard time getting a decent job.

Its not what you know it who you know.
I've seen the most intelligent fail, and some very ignorant succeed.

I believe we all ended up where we are now because the we were conceived its where the cold
beer was.
I am in agreement with cutting off funding its time we decided to end the home school stuff as well.
All children should be in school its as much about social integration as it is about learning.
I know a family that home schooled all their kids, two still going to school. The older ones couldn't
wait to get out of there. Religious they were, however the kids were not. The got to college and
that was it. They are living their own lives and the parents don't understand, what happened. Life
happened they got into a broader world and left the old one behind.
