I don't know what to make of this but it's pretty amazing. If it's true and not some kind of trick then it is astounding. Worth a watch IMO.

Not quite sure what to make of that either. Though even if it is trained, that animal has some amazing control... I don't think I can paint like that!

gee, what month are we about to head into? April? Really? Hmmm... I wonder if anyone out there would be releasing hoaky videos to somehow commemorate the beginning of April.... just a thought.

My first reaction was "How did they get the elephant to do that?" My wife thought it was some kind of trickery. After a second and third look, I think it's a good fake.

That's what I suspect too but if it is a trick it is extremely well done. There are shots that show the elephant and trunk painting which makes it unlikely it was some sort of puppet.

I have seen other elephant paintings but they were what you would expect; big messy blobs.

I'm wondering if the elephant wasn't trained to follow some lightly traced out pattern not visible to a camera or audience from a distance?
