Does anybody use Edonkey 2000? I found it is a very good file sharing program. Very helpful in finding files.

I have not heard of this program, I still use audioGnome and usually find what I want, but its bulky and slow. Do you have the url for eDonkey so i can try it?

I agree with Lakeland, I always have sharing on in other programs I use and it pisses me off big time when someone else whos sitting there leeching stuff from me has theirs turned off. Then they always get banned :p

File-sharing is exactly that. Sharing! You destroy the 'community' when you dont share your files. On the other hand, its stupid for people on 56k modems to share because its so damn slow! But remember there are people on 56k modems who use file-sharing, so scratch what i just said, hehe.

BTW, here's the url for edonkey. www.edonkey2000.com

Oh, and there's a sister program with the edonkey folks called "overnet".. This is still in beta. actually pre-beta. But you might want to try it out. www.overnet.com

Tell me what kind of experience you have with overnet please.

edonkey can be good if you are looking for somewhat rare files not available on other p2p services. But its extremely slow when I used it.
