Despite the nonsense which comes from the LBGTQ community, I believe Ford should have attended. He's going to be the Premier of everyone, and I think that would have been a good signal to send.

Thoughts?

Good policy on Ford’s part. There are thousands of parades a year in ON and he should be able to choose which ones he wishes to attend, if any.

I disagree with Walter.

I believe this was a missed opportunity on his behalf to show he will be a balanced and fair leader of Ontario.

Bullshit. The progs will always hate any Conservative. The dyke-bitch erstwhile premier attended the dyke march and the homosexual parade and she was never balanced and fair-minded.

Walter,

You should stick to your usual one or two word responses. I find you get into trouble when you type more than one or two complete sentences.

Have you been to a Pride parade?

It's commercial.

I doubt Ford really missed out not getting a rainbow fag bag from the Skip the Dishes float.

What's in a fag bag?

I think most Millennials have relaxed attitudes towards the LBGTQ community. That's the Conservatives next generation of voters he just blew off. You gotta look at the bigger picture sometimes.

So, let's see. Pride has decided to be exclusive instead of inclusive yet Ford will be the one who is called "intolerant".
And for those who don't get it, here's the message they sent. You can be proud to be gay. You can be proud to be Black. You can be proud to be Black and gay, but apparently there's no pride allowed if you're a gay, Black cop.

I understand that sentiment. I get it, but I just feel Ford should have risen above the politics of it all, and made an appearance. He's about to become the leader of all Ontario residents. I think he's behind the times on this one.

Not really. Pride's new ethos of exclusivity betrays their original intent. If they hadn't allowed themselves to be co-opted by the bigots and anarchists of BLM Toronto, then I would agree that Ford missed an opportunity. But as things are right now, I'm not sure. Of course the leftist media and the usual gang of idiots on here will try to make hay out of it because as usual with the left, what's happening doesn't actually matter. All that matters to them is who's doing it.

It's a rainbow and red cheap backpack with string straps emblazened with "Skip the Dish" to put all the freebies from all the Corporations and Unions.

It's a commercial event through and through.

I was at Edmonton Pride 3 weeks ago and Regina's last week.

The Ontario Parliament might want to adopt the Pride-Parade-Attendance Act (PPAC) that would make it a felony for anyone to not attend a local Pride Parade.

I've never been to one. Too busy.

Millennials rarely read past the Headline. The only thing that will stick is..."Doug Ford Skips Pride Parade". And they all own Twitter which is a platform where you are either right or wrong in an instant...no time for the details.

That's why if I was an advisor to Ford, I would have told him to attend. To court the next generation of voters.

Should he attend every parade and event he's invited to?

I would just hire a look-alike. Too busy.

You spend your year ashamed?

Gays scare you don't they?

Ashamed of what? I'm not proud to be white or straight or whatever. I'm not ashamed of it either. I just don't see a point in announcing my sexual orientation to the world. Do you really want to know the details of my sex life?

Imagine a domme and her male servant appearing. Oh, women's empowerment. Now imagine a Dom with his female slave. Misogyny.

I wear underwear and pants whenever I'm in public, so little risk of serious assault against me if I did attend a Pride Parade. Why would I worry?

Sex makes you uncomfortable, gay sex must really freak you out.

Sex does not make me uncomfortable. My main problem is with promiscuity due to the STI risks involved. This affects not only the person involved but state finances too in treatment costs. If two homosexuals live monogamously, then the risk is greatly reduced probably even more so than in heterosexual promiscuity. From the standpoint of public health and safety, monogamy is what matters most. Even polygamy would be preferable to promiscuity since it at least limits the number of partners. Even BDSM carried out within a monogamour or at least polygamous relationship is still preferable to promiscuity from a public-health standpoint. I'm just looking at it form a public-policy standpoint.

With that in mind, you can imagine my views on hookup culture, prostitution, and the porn industry.

Rob Ford had a long-running feud with the gay parade thing.

Looks like Doug has the same problem, whatever it is.
