An abuser who stabbed to death his ex-partner and a man she was dating in a "ferocious and merciless" attack was sentenced to a whole life order.
Marcus Osborne murdered Katie Higton, 27, and Steven Harnett, 25, in May 2023 in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.
Osborne stabbed Higton 99 times including her face and stabbed Harnett 24 times and mutilated his gentials.
At Leeds Crown Court, Mrs Justice Lambert sentenced Osborne to spend the rest of his life in prison with no possibility of parole.
It's fascinating to see these videos in the early days of British criminal sentencing being filmed and made public. However, the criminal still cannot be filmed.
This one was particularly fascinating as Osborne received a punishment that is probably worse than execution.
