Let us introduce you to the Darvaza gas crater — A.K.A. The Door to Hell or The Gates Of Hell, as it is known by locals!
Located in the Karakum Desert of central Turkmenistan (which is a 60 m wide and 20 m deep hole), this burning attraction brings myriad of people to its fiery pits each year.
And wildlife isn’t scared of the inferno.
In fact, many animals and insects are drawn into the magnetic sight and fall in.
So how did this fiery inferno end up in the middle of a desert in Turkmenistan?
