Accept changes. For, without them, Man becomes as stagnant as the dying woodland pond, never moving forward, always holding on to that which was---until one day...he too is dying within.

The point of life is not to be married or single - it is to be. We are human beings, or humans being. It does not matter so much what lifestyle we choose - it's what we make of the opportunities to grow, that counts.

I hate quotes.

Hate'em.

Why?

Because such quotes always are used to make a point
to others. Quotes oughta be like religion, kept quietly
to one's self, to be meant only for one's self.

A good quote should only be used in the morning
right underneath the mirror to make you program
yourself to follow its advice.

Never effective in telling others.

Only to yourself on the down low, like a whisper.

Like a mantra.

My mantra every single day is that I look at my beautiful face in the mirror and say " I am a blessed and worthy being that needs her meds!" I giggle and have a great day :p

LOL see.

I found this one from a Virginian Poet

Old Virginia

Virginia, the state that we adore.
From her majestic Blue Ridge Mountains
to her beautiful ocean shores.
We travel through her farmlands
and over her beautiful mountain streams.
Just carry me back to old Virginia,
the place of my childhood dreams.
In her fields of flowering cotton
and rows of yellow corn,
no place on earth is more beautiful than old Virginia,
the state where a great nation was born.

Poetry By © Horace Ellis

I sure wasn't born here but my soul was.

LOL Jimmoyer the avatar is VERY poetic LOL

Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent.

~Calvin Coolidge~

I like that quote MissAmz thank you for sharing.

Be Who You Are

Let the true spirit of who you are
Shine thru in all that you do.

Let your hopes and dreams
Always guide you in the direction
That you joyously believe in.

Let the love that is
Deep within your heart
Always be the most important
And beautiful part of your life.

Travel through time
*Not* as one alone,
But as one among
Many time travelers.

Reach out to those who need
Your gentle spirit and caring ways.

Turn your passage through time
Into an endless Love Journey.

Gentle Rain

"As rain falls equally on the just and unjust, do not burden your heart with judgements but rain your kindness equally on all."
