Later this month, NASA researchers hope to conduct an experiment that could determine if the force of gravity might someday be adjusted, like the volume of a radio. The space agency says that turning down the gravity in the immediate vicinity of a rocket would enable future spacecraft to roam the galaxy by using the tug of distant planets and stars.

Things will never quite be the same again for that Galaxy(. UDFy-38135539)...Not as they were when we spotted it ...Cuz there, where "They" ( Residents of Galaxy UDFy-38135539) are now.. is a far different Place in Space ,in time, than before...it was Now .. ..Whereever Now is ...(?) huh?..;)

Wonder if anyone from out there ..Is looking at us. here..Right now ?.....Better to Wave, just in case...Show'm we're mostly friendly Earthly Aliens here..For now ....:)

I just hope that we don't let NASA go defunct. So much science over the years has been advanced by them.




TOKYO – A Japanese probe reached Venus on Tuesday and prepared to enter orbit on a two-year mission that would mark a major milestone for Japans Space ptogram and could shed light on the climate of Earth's mysterious neighbor.
The probe, called Akatsuki, which means "dawn," would be the first Japan has ever placed into orbit around another planet and comes after the country recently brought a probe back from a trip to an asteroid.

Just the idea that we can now do this is incredible.

It's easy to go just a little nuts when you're studying exoplanets. Spend enough time investigating the exotic chemistry, composition and environments of newly discovered worlds orbiting distant stars and you can start to believe anything's possible. Little, however, can match the fairy-tale possibilities of WASP-12b.

Ahh Space ...Spend half my time there..(?;):))

It is fascinating/Humbling, the countless number of stars that can been seen on a clear night, away from the city lights....

Is amazing, what you can see with a simple pair of binoculars, or a small telescope. An, "Out of this World" view of the Moon, the rings of Saturn, some of the moons of Jupiter.

It is Inspirational/Intriguing to look Through The Eye/Into the Mind of Space Science(Astro-Biology/Astronomy/Cosmology ...etc).To peer deep into the limitless possibilities of the Universe and all that surrounds us, Out There.


Makes 1 glad to be here, to Witness it/Experience it..Enjoy it...

Can also make 1 Dizzy !.
..So when your lookin' up , reachin' for the Stars .Be sure to keep your feet firmly on the ground .Cuz So Far/As Far, as any1 can tell .. There's still no place like home ..

This is amazing, I had almost forgotten that Voyager 1 is out there chugging along.


Voyager 1 is reportedly on the edge of going beyond the solar system. Voyager 1 is the unmanned space craft that was launched in 1977 by the National Space and Aeronautics Administration at the time of the government of President Jimmy Carter. According to reports, Voyager 1 is more than ten billion miles away from earth.
Voyager 1 is signaling via its radioactive control set that it is experiencing a distinct alteration in the course of the stream of spots from the sun. The particles from the sun are reportedly moving sideward instead of outwards, reports say.
Given the situation, Voyager 1 is on the threshold of bounding into interstellar space, almost certainly in the coming 5 years. Radio signals from Voyager are now taking 16 hours to arrive on earth, BBC reports.
“The solar wind has turned the corner,” said Ed Stone, Voyager project scientist said. “Voyager 1 is getting close to interstellar space.”
The episode is a chief landmark in Voyager 1′s route via the heliosheath, the tumultuous external case of the sun’s field of power, and the imminent exit of Voyager 1 from our solar system.
It should be noted that since its launch, the Low-Energy Charged Particle Instrument of Voyager 1 has been doing the function of computing the velocity of solar wind.
When the velocity of the charged elements drumming the exterior of Voyager 1 coordinated with the speed of Voyager 1, scientists made out that the net external velocity of the solar wind was nil. This took place in June, when Voyager 1 was around 10.6 billion miles away from the sun.

It is only too bad that the world got away from deep space exploration. Hubble was never
supposed to last this long and what a wonderful insight it has given us. You are right
we are not alone in the universe, if we are, what a waste. I used to joke that we might be
an experiment on the desk of a really bright grade five student.
You look out there and wonder what does the future of the universe hold.
