Dear __________,

Thank you so much for taking the time to write to me. I'm sorry to hear that times are hard at the mine/mill/factory/coffee shop (circle one) and/or that you are having trouble with your benefits/pension/health care/citizenship status (circle one). Your story of the faith you have kept with the People of Canada and your hard work made me want to answer your letter personally.

All Canadians are facing difficult economic times, and shifts in the economy can seem particularly unfair in the mining/timber/oil/fishing/trucking/rail/coffee/retail (circle one) industry. But I know that the perseverance and work ethic of the Canadian People, best exemplified by the Conservative Party, will see us through to even greater prosperity.

I would also like to personally ask if you have considered the possibility of relocating west? There is plenty of opportunity and excellent wages in Alberta/BC/Yukon (circle one) for a man/woman (circle one) who is willing to work hard and contribute to Canada's Bright Future.

Best Regards,

Stephen Harper

1) That's based on the long census, which can no longer be considered a representative sample.
2) Who's "they"? Is not Andrew Coyne--contribtuor to many of Canada's larger media outlets commenting on it? Is he not part of teh media?
3) People don't buy good news. It's not interesting for them, genealy speaking.
