Sharp guy, this Angus. They do so like their stereotypes and, of course, all those TV-watching proles would be too dumb to follow what's happening, without some blindingly obvious visual prompts to help spark their tiny brains. Poor people are ugly; sad people are overweight; clever people wear glasses; the bad guys smoke; criminals are black; older men have younger wives.

I rarely watch TV myself - It's just 'bubblegum for the eyes.' ( And yes, before someone points it out, I got that phrase from Father Ted :? )

RE: CRUISE ''I HAVE LIVED

Poor people do tend to be less attractive than their rich counterparts, just like an old piece of doesn't have as uniform and pretty a grain pattern as a hunk of formica.

See, when you lack money you tend to get some scars and bends and wrinkles. When you have money, you don't get much of that and if you do there are other rich people willing to correct the problem for a price.

Also, it takes years of inbreeding to produce a debutant. They are the holstein cows of humanity.

If Cruise believes he was once a Mozart or Beethoven, and a Columbus or a Cook, to what, I wonder, does he attribute his present incantation’s lack of talent — bad karma?

Tom Cruise is 1 actor that no matter what kind of movie or what movie he is in I WON"T see it. I can't stand him.

I think he is an ego maniac with a small penis.

I'd love to tell you all how I know he has a small penis but I really have no proof other then the guy at the hot tub party looked EXACTLY like him and had a RCMP Body guard and the party was at a very very expensive house out in the boonies of Sidney.

I'm sure the size of his penis is in perfect proportion to the size of his body. Mind you ... he is a teeny-weeny little man.

Did he really refer to the "glib, uninformed masses?" He obviously doesn't know what glib means. My dictionary says it means "fluent and voluble but insincere and shallow." Sounds a bit like Cruise himself. I don't doubt his sincerity, but fluent, voluble, and shallow pretty well covers it.

According to some versions of assorted eastern mysticisms (can't recall where I read this, it was years ago) the point is not to reincarnate, but to move on to a higher plane. Or something. If you reincarnate, it means you failed somehow in your previous life and you've been sent back as a lesser person in hopes you'll learn some unspecified spiritual lesson this time around and be able to move on in the next round.

If that's so, this must be Cruise's last time around.

And I think the size of his penis is more likely in perfect proportion to the size of his intellect.

That said, I'd be interested to know how anyone could take Scientology seriously. It was started by a scifi writer, as a way to make a fortune. By his own admission.

People are stupid. Nuff said. That can be an explaination for just about anything screwy that goes on in society. People are STUPID.

Interesting point, Big H, about people claiming all kinds of lofty previous lives. I've noticed this often too, and find people who claim to have been grand poobahs of something leave me a bit skeptical. Not everyone could have been nobility!
...

   Yah, I rememeber one year when I met three different women who claimed to be Nefrititi, and two of them were also Chief Sitting Bull. At least part of that name was correct.

Either way, Cruise has lost his marbles. After seeing "Last Samarai" I was impressed with his acting, but it's hard to take him seriously now. Kinda sad.

I agree again, I really enjoyed "Last Samari", and also "Collateral", but in movies he is playing the role of a character written by a screenwriter, not playing himself. When he's playing himself his verbal diarrhea is annoying, at very least.

He claims to have lived before, I guess that means he has died before too.

Hi Dawg! Haven't seen you in ages!

Well, let's hope this life he decides to shut the hell up when he's not acting. Although the damage may already be done ... I don't think I can look at him now in any role and get past his nuts-ness.

I'm with you, the damage has been done, no more TC movies for me, I don't want to contribute a dime to this moron.

I used to be a TC fan, but no more.

How come, it seems, that all hollywood types are Scientolgists? Is it the one religion where they don't want 10% of what you make, I know some want more.

'Days of Thunder' was 'Top Gun' in a car.

But I do think it was marginally better than 'Driven'.

All religions ar e a bit wacko when you really analise them, but this Scientology bull really hits new heights of complete bollox. However, I'm well aware of the lengths that celebrities go to for publicity.
