The Pages of Honour for the dual Coronation of the King and Queen on Saturday 6th May have been announced.

King Charles III will have his own set of pages and Queen Camilla will have her own set of pages.

Among the King's pages will be his grandson Prince George. The second in line will be the youngest future King ever to take up such a role. The role traditionally goes to boys ages 12 to 15 but Prince George, 9, has been given the role after showing an interest in the ceremony.

All the pages will wear scarlet uniforms during the rare national event and, following tradition.

What role will Prince George undertake as the King's Page of Honour during the Coronation?

Prince George's role will also give the future King George VII, King Louis or King Alexander - depending on which regal title he chooses - a glimpse of what will happen at his own Coronation at an unknown future date.

The last two Queen Consorts - Queen Mary and Queen Elizabeth - had female pages during their coronations, yet Queen Camilla has opted for male pages.
