Well, given what they just did to Roadkill Madrid (formerly Real Madrid), I calculate PSG is gonna roll over Chelsea like a tidal wave.

French teams are traditionally very poor in international tournaments and English teams are very good in them.

When PSG won this year's Champions League it was only the second time a French team won it in its 70 year history (Marseille in 1993 being the only other time). How many times have English teams won it?

So I wouldn't write Chelsea off. The English are very good in international club tournaments.

Heh-heh. You think Chelsea is English. That's so cute.

Yeah. They're based in Chelsea in West London. They may have foreign players but so too do Paris Saint-Germain.

And, for some reason, English teams tend to win international tournaments and French teams don't. Of the three major European tournaments last season, two were won by English teams and PSG won the other.

I reckon Chelsea will beat PSG.

Well, except for an international tournament called the World Cup.

Let us know when any of your favourites take all the silver on the shelf, like Bayern Munchen did in 2020-21.

Chelsea did it earlier this year when they won the Conference League.

They're only the fifth team to win EVERY European trophy.

True.

Well, for Briddish values of "true." Ever hear of Liverpool?

Well Liverpool are THE most successful English team. They are once again our current champions. And they know how to win the Champions League. They've won it an amazing six times.

Congratulations, Blackleaf. Chelsea did y'all proud. I was purely amazed. While nobody can guarantee a win in football, to beat PSG 3-0 was quite a feat.

How the hell did Chelsea not win the Premier League?

I think Chelsea are coming back strong again and I reckon they'll be competing for the title this coming season. If Cole Palmer keeps scoring for them like the two goals he scored against PSG then they stand a good chance. Chelsea finished 4th last time around and I reckon they'll do better next time.

Having said that, it's hard to tell in a way because Chelsea played a French team. English teams are good at winning international tournaments and French teams aren't. For example, only twice has a French team won the European Cup/Champions League - including Paris Saint-Germain this year - but Chelsea alone have won it twice, and that's not taking into account all the other English teams that have won it, so yet again an English team wins an international tournament and a French team doesn't.
