To be fair, those Lands never were Quebec lands, they were given to Quebec to Administer for Canada.

Its like saying if Ontario seperated we should get the territories because they are administered from Ottawa.

I agree but what I find hypocritical is that Canada has one of the worst records for how it treats its indigenous people (see UN). We are constantly offering them poor deals (see Newfoundland) or outright reneging on ones we have made (see Kelowna BC). Now, when Quebec threatens to separate, the native Americans are a big concern not just the usual pain in the side? I quite frankly found the whole argument nauseating, more than a little embarrassing and, after all these years, still the only thing we're interested in is stealing native American land. :-(
