Wanna bet?
So my bro and I are watching game 5 last night and it was a scoreless toss-up as you know after 2. So to make it more interesting, because at this point it's a hair over watching soccer on the excitement meter, I suggest we put a little wager on it: whichever team scores the next goal will win the game; so I gave him the choice of yes or no to that for a $5 bet. He took the yes side with the advantage of a win if the 3rd period went scoreless.... even if it meant having to cheer for Boston should they put one in first! Oh the indignity!
Anyway, of course, I ended up having to cheer for Boston and he's shankin' his head chirpin' "What some people will lower themselves to for five bucks!"
I hung my head in shame.
