"internal trade barriers"????

examples, please?

Too puzzling for you hence the multiple ?????????

Chamber of Commerce - PDF File

afraid of me so you have to try discourage me with snark remarks?

None of those "internal trade barriers" relate to NAFTA and even if any of those, by definition, "internal trade barriers" are anything more than CEO pet peeves two wrongs don't make a right.

I don't fear the narrow minded and the meek. Have a nice day. :D

Canada is rampant with internal barriers at all levels from the individual to whole industries. We have restictions on markets, certifications, employment and every other toe the governments can stick their toes in.

Some states like to hang or electocute their prisoners while other states simply lock them up forever.

State government in the US is the playground for developers and business tycoons. Desert communities exist where water has to be re-directed so developers can offer golf on manicured fairways that chould'nt even exist in these regions.

"Crossing the state-line" has been the aim of bootleggers and criminals in the US since prohibition becuase different states have different laws regarding commerce and trade. Don't for a moment beleive this tripe that America is one big homogeneous trade empire without internal conflicts. Just more American propaganda and horsepuckey...

MikeyDB is correct, it's the only way to become the foremost economic engine on earth, interstate trade barriers.

Since when did any American business or government for that matter care one whit about the "law".

A significant dynamic to the maelstrom of greed that has made America so wealthy is the cowboy mentality that eschews law and controls of any kind. ITN wants everyone to believe that America is wealthy because of its "business acumen" when in fact if you look at deals made with dictatorships and outright land-grabs all over the face of the planet the truer and more accurate picture of American "business acumen" comes to light.

Oh really? Do tell MikeyDB, considering Canada has 1/10 the population and 1/10 the economy, one would assume all this jibberish you keep spouting applies to Canada also.

Tell us some more.

You're right ITN, Canada's adopted WalMart slavery as "employment" from the US and our stores are filled to overflowing with the same sweatshop produced junk that Americans are happy to purchase.

Do you really believe that a nation that embraced slavery for years, contributed to dictatorships all over the world and hides its imperial aggression under camoflage of "war on terror" etc. etc. can brag about its wealth?

Sure why not, everybody else does it, we just get shit because we are in the spotlight, a nemesis of the fringe left. As long at the United States exists, the fringe left will always go bonkers, they can't deal with it, they serve their masters, the ideological elitists, the millionnaires and billionnaires playing on morality. Show me a someone on the left in a position of power that isn't rich, then I will start believing the "noble" philosophy....again.

I'm not gonna go into Canada, the global arms dealer with a heart of gold, do your own research. While you're at it, do some research on social-democratic countries that have their foot all over the world, then we can talk when you have been equally educated.

As you've pointed out, America is the wealthiest and the reason America is in the "spotlight" is because the real nature of American greed and lawlessness is out there for the world to see. You're there in the spotlight because the world is finally getting some sense of exactly how corrupt the "Land of the Free" and the Home of the Brave" really is....

Clever line but meaningless. Just walk through a Wal-Mart store. Every piece of junk they sell has no better than a "tail light" warrantee. You don't like the staff? Come back next week, they'll all be new.

Yes, disregard what I said like a good little leftist soldier, blind to everything when the words US and Amerika are not in it. You have no concept America does what it does because of the likes of you, do you? Ponder that. I doubt you have the ability to do so.

Not as many as they'd like.

Several stores in Canada are closing. Best thing that could happen to them. All we need is yet another minimum wage wonder to go along side Wendy's and MacDonald's.
