EVE OF REDEMPTION: THE STEVEN TRUSCOTT STORY
Forty-five years ago, Steven Truscott was sentenced to hang for the murder of 12 year-old Lynn Harper. He was just 14, Canada's youngest death row inmate and his trial was one of the most famous and controversial in Canadian history. His sentence was commuted and after spending 10 years behind bars he disappeared to live an anonymous life in southern Ontario. the fifth estate uncovered evidence that showed the case against Truscott was dubious, at best.

Visit the fifth estate web feature and examine the evidence used against Truscott four decades ago. Plus read current updates about the case.

Gee, all i get from CBC now is the Quirks and Quarks thing. I love that show.

It's kind of funny...if you listen the three hosts there have been over the years (David Suzuki, Jay Ingram, Bob MacDonald), they all sound very similar. Does the CBC have some sort of voice test for science show hosts?

I never noticed if they sounded the same. The bush documentary was really good tho. Hey rev I just found out that david remier killed himself. I read the book years ago. What a sad story. I did not know he killed himself. I was hoping he would go on and have a chance at some kind of life.

Got the CBC bookmarked and check it nearly every day. I see they have brought in George S. from Much Music and he has a new hourly show on 4 nights per week.

I saw that one on Benny Hinn, and it confirmed just what I have suspected all along. Typical religious conman duping the old and sick!
