So nice of the venue to provide us with this great video! Love PA! And I love the quadruple Krises around 1:30!

It's always better when it's a gang. Love the gang!

Yeah, I have an orb,” Allen boasted.

I also thought this was hilarious.

askjflksjlgj.. speechless

What does it mean when people use all those letters? I've been seeing that a lot, lately (also, I'm curious where you pick up all this stuff, anyway). Can you fill me in? You kids and your newfangled internet! Jeez. What next?

Paranoid Android. Isn't it nice to hear Kris more like he actually sounds live (though not quite...), rather than on some buzzy YouTube home video? But I don't understand why he doesn't go country! He could work with Mark Bright. Instead of doing this crap. :)

I saw Hedley on that radio station, but Allison -- nope, didn't see her.

Hedley and Kris in Reno? I doubt they'll go to his concert but I wish they would.

(Now I see Allison. She was missing a minute ago -- so were all the acts that are now on the page in between Hedley and This Century/The Maine. No idea why they weren't there a minute ago.)

quadruple Krises

Yep, they rule!

It's the sound you make when you can't talk. All the letters jumble up making you .... speechless. ;)

Also there is a secret club for internet verbage, we weren't going to tell you.. but since you asked so nicely. Just knock 3 times on your screen and a door will open up and you can go on in to the clubhouse. Drinks are free today. :glasses7: And there will be a drunken quiz later.

and yes it's spectacular hearing Kris through the club's sound system. Especially since I haven't had the chance to actually see him live. This rocks. It's nice to actually see him on the screen too without the heads in the way, and the crazy camera work. (as appreciated as it is)

Ah, Mark Bright is the holy grail isn't he? One day Ross, one day.

Hedley might have just been driving through Reno, since they seem to be elsewhere now. I just found it odd that they were both there. lol

I think the Angel Taylor singing with them probably has more to do with the fact that she's up first and has more down time than the Kris and the band. During the day Kris and BNL are both pretty busy running to radio stations for press or free extra shows. I don't think Keith had that issue happening the night Kris opened for him, and Lady A's LA show wasn't it a one off show?

SleepinIn, thanks for trying to answer my question. I don't think I get what you were trying to say, though. I don't get it about Angel Taylor being on first, or Kris and BNL running to radio stations. What does having down time have to do with singing with BNL in their encore? (Sorry, I tried. But I'm confused, I have to admit.)

You will, though. Good things come to those who wait. Or something like that.

I'm looking forward to David's CD. It will be nice with his band on it.

LOL ! I have that affect on people. I just meant that Angel only sings 4 songs (I think), and is on first and from the press I've seen doesn't seem to be in as much demand from radio stations for private extra shows. I've seen both BNL and Kris do both a radio show as well as their night time show so they seem busier to me. But that might not be the case at all. That's just my guess really.

That's good because today I feel like I need a drink.

Are we talking about the same thing? I'm talking about why BNL is asking Angel Taylor but not KAB back onstage to sing with them when they do encores. What are you talking about?

Yep, that's what I was talking about - clearly not very well. LOL! - and my point was that they were too busy to work something out. Which could actually be completely wrong. For all I know they hate each other.

April Joy - Yeah.... - TwitVid

People are not liking Weston Buck. (Winston Buck? Whatever.) Tweets are incredulous/negative.

and my point was that they were too busy to work something out. Which could actually be completely wrong. For all I know they hate each other.

Oh, I'm sorry. Now I get it. That wasn't too clear! lol. I was trying to figure out why BNL doing radio gigs had to do with their encore! But now I GET IT. Thanks.

Um...I never thought of that. But you may be right. I haven't given it any thought but now that I do think of it - if I were in the audience, I might find it strange to see them bring one of the opening acts onstage and not the other.

When does Kris do his meet and greet? Is it during BNL's set or after the concert? Maybe he starts the meet and greet during BNL's encores?

I like that he was excited about opening for Kris, and he's just a kid and he promoted like crazy. Don't think I'd pay for his album or anything... and I'd keep the negative to myself since we hate it when Kris gets that during BNL shows.

or at least minimize the negative.. lol

(he is excitable.. I don't think Kris has used that many ! in all of his tweets as Weston did today alone, so he's probably really nervous)

I agree! I feel the same way about people being so negative about Justin Gaston. It's not that I love Justin (who now has Kris's hair, btw), it's just that I feel empathy for someone on that opener slot getting a lot of criticism.

I just watched the Weston Buck Twitter song. I thought it was pretty good. But onstage they look amateurish. They kind of reminded me of the Johnstones in their goofiness. But not half as good/goofy.

Anyhow, I think we should be honest. Adam wouldn't have an act like this opening for him. So why should Kris? I don't really get it. Remember the radio concert Adam did, not long ago (when he wore the harem pants)? Kris has done better and seemed a better performer, in similar shows. So why does he have to get the short end of the stick? It's a joke that he should have these kinds of opening acts, when Adam has Orianthi.

Yeah, sometimes I don't think the promoters know anything about Kris or his music.

Well, I think you're right but that's only partly what I meant. I really meant that from what I just saw, this is a grade C band, regardless of the style of music. I wouldn't mind if a good band with a totally different style from Kris opened for him. Hip-hop, even, as long as they were really good. Kris has had some really questionable opening acts that haven't helped sell tickets for his shows and it's like he's carrying dead weight. When people come to a show, if the whole show is good, it really is to the benefit of the headliner. Either his management thinks he's not really good enough for better opening acts, or they're not willing to invest in paying for them.

Who are you thinking about? (I don't really count Justin - that's a separate thing for his management I think)

Okay, if Jessica Simpson becomes an AI judge, I'm not watching anymore. It just wouldn't make ANY sense.

Oh, and Kris put the "sexy" picture as his new twitter avi. Too bad it doesn't completely fill the square, I love that picture!

Why not count Justin? I'm sure most people who went to those shows didn't know Kris was doing it for his management. All they knew was they had to sit through Justin, and this may be the only show of Kris's those people will ever see. I think you have to think of it that way. People don't go to a tour. They go to one show.

I think my original point was that Adam gets A-list or B-list openers and Kris gets C-list or worse. I'm not saying some aren't good - like GRO - but nobody knows who they are. And GRO was the best opener Kris has had. I think he had Hot Chelle Rae, one time, maybe. But who's Weston Buck? Or that band who played so long Kris had to cut his set short. It seems like he has to take these openers no matter what.

Oh, it's okay, I guess. I know "they" are still trying to make Adam the next superstar. Adam gets the lion's share of everything. I don't know why. He hasn't even sold the number of singles and albums as David Cook, or some of the people who came before him. He doesn't even have a platinum album, but he seems to be getting much more attention from TPTB than any contestant, ever, who went before him. Blah-blah-blah, I've said it all before.

PS: Kris gets some great moments. Some wonderful venues. Like I said. Anthology. An awesome club. Red Rocks. Mixfest at Harborlights Pavillion. One of the best venues I've ever been to. Etc. I don't mean to sound like it's all negative.

ETA: Jessica Simpson! OMG. She makes Paula look like a nuclear physicist.

Oh, and Kris put the "sexy" picture as his new twitter avi. Too bad it doesn't completely fill the square, I love that picture!

I had to go check it out because I didn't know what the sexy picture was. Gee. I think all he has to do is crop the picture.

Kris has an interesting career. You know, (this is a weird thing for me to say, I know, but) all he'd have to do is go shirtless, or wear a wet T-shirt, or something, in one of his videos, and be photographed a certain way, and there would be no problem getting a ton of publicity for said video, the single, and for himself. Way, way more than Adam in all his finery. After all, that is kinda, sorta of part of being a pop star. Remember the Chris Isaak Wicked Game video? Kris would never, ever do something like that. Not that I'd want him to. It's not him. But if he did do something a little sexy, he'd get all the attention he could handle. (And he's not going to be young and good looking forever, so why not get a little superficial attention now? It would just bring more attention to his music, which is a good thing.)

Ask Kris a question:

Okay Jessica Simpson? Um. No, thanks.

I get what you're saying about Justin, but I think it was an opportunity for Kris too just to have his name in front of people. The Producer once said in a fan interview that you'd be surprised how many people watch the show, or download the episodes. Which doesn't mean to say that anyone I know has even ever heard of it... because they haven't. But Justin's picture and status had him on tour for Kris. And it was a few random dates, but I still occasionally see tweets asking about Justin touring with Kris. So simply just having his name being on the screen is a good thing in my opinion.

Because you're right. Shirtless pictures or the like would get a TON of press.. and Kris is just never going to do that.

Adam's openers aren't really big stars either. (bigger than Kris's but not huge really) There's a nice consistency of having them at all the dates of the tour. Even though I do like Kris's strategy of opening and headlining there are still benefits to staying on the same tour. But, would I change that to miss Maroon 5 opening dates, or Keith Urban opening dates? No way. Even the BNL dates got them in front of another audience.

The stars of Orianthi's video are from the Dream House too. Go 19 - whoot!
