I don't know, I don't think about it that hard, I guess. It's just a TV show.

LOL. What?

I didn't think about it that hard either, I just wasn't really surprised. And since you asked the question, I wondered what you thought about it!!

LOL! I guess I just had a long day. Let's see...oh, I know. MJ said she thought the bottom 3 would be Tim, Didi, and Andrew. I think. So I was thinking that way. If she didn't say it, someone on her blog did, maybe.

I'm not that invested in this show this year. I'm trying not to be, to tell you the truth. Because I think this year a lot of the wrong people are staying and going.

I'm not really invested this year either. Didi left and I was like, heh. Bye Didi. And for what was supposed to be a girls year, well we're down to 6 guys and 3 girls. And Katie will be gone in a couple of weeks at the max, I think.

I like Didi. I think she's better than Aaron, Katie, and Tim. Definitely Tim. But better than the other two, also. She has ability to interpret a song. I mean, suppose you were going to a show in a club. Who would you rather see, if you had the choice? Those Mouseketeers? This show is so bogus, at this point, for me.

Oh. you're definitely right about Didi, ross. She's way better than some of the ones that stayed. I guess my reaction was just proving my point that I didn't really care about this anymore. Not that much anyway. Not enough to feel bad about Didi leaving before Aaron, Smug Teen Witch (as Top Idol calls her) and Teflon Tim.

But of course the one that I can't picture any other Idol singing is AWM. It's such a non-Idol song.

Completely agree. It sounds really fresh. Different from what's on the radio but in a really good way. Listen up Jive.

Ryan was annoying me so Mike picking him up kind of made me happy. If Mike had dropped Ryan.. well I wouldn't have minded that either. lol

Siobhan was depressed.. you know you got one bad night of bad comments. Tim over there has had every night and now Kara's asking him if he understands what they're saying to him..really Kara? Time to perk up Siobhan you've got 8 more weeks of this if you stick around to the finale.

Usher.. didn't sound great, but he put on a good show.

Diddy.. same. It was fun and anyone who gets the sway bots to cheer.. well they're doing something right. But seriously bad lyrics. Hello, Good Morning. Hello, Good morning. Hello. Good Morning. I'm thinking it's not going accoustic anytime soon.

My bottom 3 hit the Bottom 3 - whoot! And sadly Didi who I liked hit the exit. I thought she'd go though so it's not like I'm surprised.

I can't say I'm overly invested in this season either.

Yeah, I finally figured out today what STW stands for. The mean-eyed girl!

I guess I am a little invested, though, because I felt really bad for Didi. She's a sweetheart. Also, I guess I'm a sap, but I think of her working as a waitress and trying to make it, vs. these teens who are still in high school, and it bothers me. Not that I'm holding that against them. If they were brilliant, it wouldn't matter, but why are they there? I'm beginning to see your point about young teens in the competition, missaddicted.

I don't like teens in the competition either. They're just not ready.

And they didn't show Aaron Spears tonight. :(

Oh yeah, I'm still firmly in the camp that high school students shouldn't be on that show. Minimum 18, at least. Go finish high school, live a bit, and then come back.

Sebastian Pigott, about CI:

Sebastian On Canadian Idol:
Sebastian goes into a deep chuckle – his laugh is sincere and contagious. Sebastian looks at these types of experiences as a way for actors to “earn their stripes” and evolve as well-rounded artists. Conversation shifts to his time on Canadian Idol. Sebastian states that it was “completely out of the blue”. In fact, Sebastian was auditioning for the show at the same time as he was trying to get The Two Deaths of Henry Baker off the ground. He saw this as a way to reconnect with his brother Oliver. Sebastian describes the entire auditioning process as an after-thought and that he walked into the audition with a shoestring for a guitar strap. The spontaneous attitude worked for him because he and his brother became highlights of the show and Sebastian went on to crack the top ten, landing in eighth spot. Sebastian discussed why he believed he went as far as he did.
NR: “The show is a popularity contest.” [Insert foot into mouth]
SP: “Well of course it is. By definition, people are voting for you, so certainly it’s a popularity contest but, the fact that I was an actor... I acted my way through that contest. I’m good now, because I have spent the past year and a half catching up to where I was pretending to be before. They give you a song and you have a minute-thirty to do whatever you want, which is very similar to an audition. What I did, was I structured all of my performances like an audition. I had my eye lines, I would talk to them about lighting, and I’ll tell you, nobody else did that. I would block it. My first performance I was sitting... and I don’t think I sang very well. That performance I got so nervous, that the day before I lost my voice and it wasn’t until the day of my first vocal performance on the show that I was able to make any noise, but I blocked that thing – you can YouTube it, Dark Horse. Humbly, I got through it just because I blocked it so well and I had on my suit and I looked fantastic.”
It is important to point out that Sebastian does not come off as cocky, but rather confident in an interesting and appealing way.
SP: “I put on this suit and I thought about the suit, and I thought about the lighting and I got my hair right and everything. I am not talking about being handsome; I’m talking about the style of the thing. I was sitting and I had this whole cheesy move with the microphone and it’s cheesy, but yeah know, it’s what got me through. I am proud to say that I got some real fans on that show and that they follow me today – that makes me proud.

She's not a very experienced performer and it's beginning to show. In performances and in her reactions, which are somewhat childish. I'm not sure she will be able to play the game. I said this before, I think, but in a stronger season, I don't think she'd be able to last. She's not quite a Lil, but in some ways that's who she reminds me of, because she started out strong and seems to show more and more flaws as she goes on.

I understand your point about Tim, but what else would the judges say to him every week? He isn't good. You didn't like Kara's question? I thought it was great, because his attitude baffles me, too. I was glad she asked. I think she's honestly scatching her head about what MJ calls his Tim's "inappropriate responses". Didn't Kara ask something about whether he listens to what they have to say? He didn't really answer it. He explained why he laughs/smiles. Anyhow, last time I checked, it's a singing competition. I don't get the feeling he's trying to win it, and if he doesn't think he can win it, or isn't trying to, why is he even there?

Aw Sebastian yes, you did get fans.

Tonights results moved me way up the Idol pool at MJ's - I am now in 266th place. Whoot! lol.

I agree with you -- I'm not sure Siobhan is going to be able to pull herself back up. I hope she can, but this show is also about the pressure cooker environment. Lil, Matt, Anoop they all faltered and couldn't deal. It's not only about singing well, or popularity it's about being able to handle stress and criticism and not letting it change who you are.

Didn't Kara ask something about whether he listens to what they have to say? He didn't really answer it. he explained why he laughs/smiles. Anyhow, last time I checked, it's a singing competition. I don't get the feeling he's trying to win it, and if he doesn't think he can win it, why is he even there?

He did. He said that he has no reason to be upset since he's singing in front of millions, which is way beyond what he expected. And it's not like he's going to ask to go home. And say to Kara, you're right I do suck please cut this amazing experience short. I just don't know what Kara expected him to say.

I think he took it seriously, I just think he couldn't execute it. I think the stalker eye thing was an attempt to be serious and connect. It just didn't. And also scared people.

#22 on HAC? Not bad! At least he's still climbing, right? How many stations have added the song, I wonder?

I heard LLWD on 104.1 (HAC) last Saturday. It's been a while since I listened to that station. I had to stop listening to Kiss108, as I think I mentioned. That music is awful! I mean, individually the songs are okay, and I like most of them. But repeated constantly, and played one after the other, it's painful!

Orianthi is opening for Adam at that tailgate party or whatever (well, baseball doesn't have tailgate parties, but a post-game concert, in Tampa). Does that surprise anybody? I guess to me, Adam has played two concerts, so I'm surprised anyone who's a name, with more experience, is his opening act. (I know she plays on his album.) But who knows? She's new, too.

Still there, guys?

The Canadian stations playing (or who have added, or played ) LLWD are in Kelowna, Vernon, Kamloops, Vancouver, Calgary (3 stations), Regina, Toronto, Barrie, Missisauga, Peterborough, Kingston, Ottawa, Montreal, Saint John, Moncton, Halifax, and St. Johns. Not that many. So, #22 isn't bad.
