Okay, the Canadian guy thinks only Kelly is successful, so I can't believe anything he says. He's smokin' crack.

and Aaron Kelly??? Seriously? Seriously? He's going to win? If I could vote I would totally not vote for Aaron.

The combo of teen base, Rascal Flatts persona and all-around good guy goes right to mid-America, the same voters that propelled Kris Allen, David Cook, Carrie Underwood and others into the top spot in previous years

Because we didn't like Kris, David or Carrie's music..? those pesky teens looking for good people. I hate the insinuation that they didn't win because of talent. Because they did. None of them would have gotten votes by just being nice.

I thought David's tweet about Kenny Rogers was funny, then I read a blog from someone from TOMs and they mentioned that their bus driver was really into Kenny Rogers. Apparently Kenny Rogers is HUGE in Africa. LOL.

I may need some of that crack to get through another episode with these boring singers tonight.

1. Siobhan.

That sucked. I don't know what else to add.

First she gets a critique by the four judges. Then she gets...another critique by the four judges.

Siobhan didn't do herself any favors tonight. The song was ass and she pretty much sounded like that as well. I'm sure she could've done without the double judging though, two hours for ten performances is going to be soooo long.

After the break: More old songs! I'm shocked!

2. Casey has the Kris Memorial Slot tonight.

I think this guy has a great voice. He's not the most creative singer I ever heard, or the most artistic. But in lieu of anything better, he's my #1 guy in this competition right now.

Didn't Casey do that performance last week? And the week before? Zzzzz.

Okay, I have to be fair, he sounded good and he showed a little more personality, but I never see myself rooting for that guy or wanting to buy his album. Meh.

Also, while he was performing, I couldn't help but think about what they said about him on Idolatry, how he must be working his abs during the performance or something, lol. He was a little less stiff towards the end, but for most of the song, he was still really stiff!

Since I've heard this song all my life (it seems) I don't know if I can even judge it. It's a classic r&b ballad by Chaka Khan. But I think you're right, it is kind of crap. But very successful crap.

Michael.

I always have a negative reaction to this guy. Even though I think he sang well, and he did have a moment, etc. He just seems so smarmy. I don't know. Sorry.

Kara never heard that song??

"Old"-sounding crap mostly. Sorry, I would never listen to that song voluntarily.

I really liked Big Mike tonight. Really liked! His performance felt more honest than everything he's done before and he's cut back on the cheese factor. Big points for that. Also, big points for not choosing a song from 1971.

Didi.

I missed her performance while I was looking for the Theresa clip. I'll have to watch her video on mj's blog later.

Seemed like they were throwing her under the bus. Was she worse than Siobhan?

These Kris Allen commercials are like fresh air.
