I think it's kind of normal for LLWD to start losing steam. It's been out for almost 6 months, so obviously, it would start falling at some point. Not that it's even there yet, but it'll probably, soon. Time for a new single!

WWFM is now playing a lot on the radio station I listen to. AND they still play FYE. WWFM was #2 last night on the request show. People seem to love Adam's music here. At least, I really like WWFM and found myself totally singing along to it this morning. And I'm also very grateful that FYE is playing less and less.

Well, I don't mean to continue to sound like a dolt, but I guess I don't get the connection of that info to the spins last week. Does it have something to do with spin #'s?

No real connection. It just tells you how long they've been playing it.

I liked both LLWD and WWFM right away and think they're both good songs. WWFM has burnt out on me faster though -- maybe because I've heard it more on the radio? I don't know.. but it's not like I haven't heard LLWD A LOT - just not on the radio. LLWD really just has an incredibily slow burn rate. It's amazing.

Kiss might increase the spins before the concert. But, LLWD's had an amazing run and it's still top 10 (whoot!) in Pop. And #4 on HAC

and I agree it's normal for them to decrease spins.

Want new video. Want new single.

BTW, FYE basically disappeared not long after WWFM arrived on the scene here. They stopped playing it. At least during the times I was listening.

It's funny, listening again to Lee's studio version, it's so clear why he chose that song. It sounds pretty much exactly how his pre-Idol (the most recent one) sounds. The song would totally fit with the other songs on that album.

14 spins in Montreal

CKOI-FM Pub 14 0 0 Canada-Top 40 Montreal RCA/RMG Corus Entertainment Inc. 2 11/5/2009

They're still playing it, but clearly not as much as before. 49 spins on that station in Victoria, wow! Why all those 0's? Clearly it was playing the week before?

ETA: Oops, you changed your post.

The Moody's...yeah, that was a little weird. I suppose they figured the whole world wouldn't read their blog. Wonder how people found that?

Teen Idols? Well, I'll be interested to see the list for that... weird theme. But, maybe Siobhan can sing a Hanson song!!

Oh, my mind went to same place, SleepinIn. I'm very curious to see the list of songs on iTunes to see what their choices are.

From Billboard.com:

CHART BEAT BITS: As this season of "American Idol" reduces its field of contestants to 11, last year's champ achieves a first on the Pop Songs chart. Rising 11-10 with "Live Like We're Dying," Kris Allen becomes the show's first male winner to enter the tally's top 10. He joins previous champs Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood and Jordin Sparks in reaching the chart's top tier.
