Someone on the Kalan Porter forum posted the WWFM parody. I thought it was mildly amusing. Also, the guy didn't do too bad a vocal impersonation. A little pitchy, dawg, but, dude, not bad considering it's supposedly impossible to sound like anything like Adam.

I actually kind of like that Adam is basically coming out as a 'pseudo drag queen,' at least in Japan (see video). I think that's actually a whole other kind of out. I like this because I feel it's Adam being himself, and it's always bothered me that he seemed not to be totally himself, if you recall (and I'm sure you recall). Interesting point here is that we all wear various disguises, even an out gay man can sometimes be wearing a mask at times.

As for Alex, I watched his Ellen performance three times. That kid is so damn good!!! I love his tone. (I wish he had sung that song, I think he would have gone through.) I would have backed him all the way, in this thing. True, he's inexperienced, and I don't think he's ready to win AI, but the stuff is all there. I'd have voted for him. Wouldn't have expected him to get to Top 2 or 3, or even 4, but it would have been fun to follow him. A reason to watch.

(Don't get me wrong, I think Adam looks perfectly ridiculous. But if you're going to look ridiculous you might as well do it perfectly. Besides, this is America, after all. I mean, Japan. Canada? Well, it's somewhere free, so what the hell.)

Any bets on who's going home tonight?

I want Lacey to go home. Not completely betting on it though.

David Hodges tweeted about 12 hours ago that he spent the day with Kris, David C. and David A. Interesting...

and Kris's tweets crack me up. :)

I want Lacey to go home as well. In my eyes, even though most of them are far from stellar, she's truly the worst.

Can't wait for Jumpin' Jack Flash! I trust the boys to make that song sound good!!

So is Kris already songwriting some more? Yesterday, Kate Voegele and today, David Hodges? Maybe they were not songwriting though. Cook has spent a lot of time songwriting with Hodges. Archie must also be in a songwriting period.

ETA: Oh yeah, Kris's tweets! The one about 9:03 was the funniest thing!

I think the following will be staying: Mike, Didi, Casey, Lacy, Siobhan, Paige and Aaron.

Not shour who will be going home from the rest, I didn't like Tim, Andrew ang Lee. I didn't like Crystal's performance last night.

I don't understand why they keep using that old picture of Kris that doesn't even look like him! Weird.

The other acts are typical for the Kiss Concert. It's actually kinda cool that Kris has an audience that also listens to another kind of music. I don't mind the other acts. It's fun, party type stuff, if you're in the mood for it. I can't see myself going to this concert, though, it's a really young crowd, I think. Besides, Kris could have anywhere from three songs to only one. I would love to go if it was free, though.

I think the following will be staying: Mike, Didi, Casey, Lacy, Siobhan, Paige and Aaron.

I think I agree with you.

Is only one going home tonight? I forget how it works. It's hard to say. I can't even guess. If I could send one home, I think it would be Paige or Tim.

Here's the link for 'Something New' (Talking Canadian Content rules and Can rock - whee!) and with Hedley. Hedley made a good point about making it in the US too. It's a really good interview.

Thanks, I'll have to listen to it later. I'm listening to it now, actually, but I don't have the time to hear it all. (Ha. See the following sentence.)

Hm. Even though I have craploads to do, I'm watching this excellent show now.

Is Korey Schaefer Chris Crippin's little brother? Holy crap, quite the resemblance. Maybe he doesn't look exactly like him, but the expressions, attitude, etc.

A David Cook fan on MJ's made me mad. "Cook will show them how a real Idol winner does it." Grrrr. Don't get mad at me for saying the following, but a Kris fan would never say that. Kris fans are simply too lazy to be that competitive. (j/k)

Speaking of competitive, I hear WWFM a lot on Kiss108 now, and LLWD much less. SleepinIn, can you consult your charts and graphs and let me know sometime how much LLWD is being spun on that station now? (Would you mind? Hate to ask. I'm just getting very curious.)

Ryan, Simon...arguing...can't they work this stuff out backstage? Is that supposed to be entertainment? A little bit of human interest? Uncomfortable.

And they gave love to Neal and Kyle at least! They rocked that song!

And yay for Idol Gives Back appearance! Maybe he's going with Kris?? Or maybe not...

Yay for David! And his band is awe-some! Great job.

The first part of the Ford commercial was so weird because at first I didn't recognize any of them. ("Are those the idols?") I recognized Crystal, I guess.

I'm just gonna say it once more. Alex and Lilly need to be there. Okay. Done.

Judges' save is permanent, then. I kind of forgot about it.

Paige, b3.

Lee is safe -- not surprisingly. I don't think he has a clue what creating a moment is, though. At least from what he said.

Aaron...I like him even though I don't really care about him as a singer. Safe of course.

Andrew and Tim...Andrew safe, Tim, b3 (Glad Andrew is safe. Not popular on MJ's blog, thought he might be gone).

America's kind of getting it right tonight. Paige and Tim in the bottom 3, not undeserved.

After watching that AndPop episode, I kind of want to move to Canada. Not only for the music, but...well, I don't know what it is. I just like Canadians.

But back to America...let's see if they continue to get it right. Probably Lacey?

Orianthi...a rock and roll pioneer? Okay, whatever. Hey, they're giving her the Allison wind machine (from the tour). Who was the 16-year-old girl on CI last season -- Katherine? I can picture her doing something like this.

Orianthi reminds me that the pop stars they have on this show never sound as good as they do on the radio (unless they're Idols). But she's not doing bad.

Oh, Orianthi. Not getting any love from me, yuck. Did she come out of the 80s? Only positive thing I could say? She seems like a really good guitar player. Other than that, she sounded awful and the song sucks!

Wow, maybe Lacey is really going home! I wouldn't miss Paige either. Tim? Didn't expect him to be eliminated so soon. Both Lacey and Paige shouldn't even have made the top 12... should have been Lilly or Katelyn there.
