Kara's second plug for Adam Lambert.

I disagree with Simon. (Thank God.) I don't think it's better to be freaky than actually good. (And I don't think an equal number of people should hate you as like you. At least, not if they're voting.)

You know, I don't want to listen to that again, don't want to play it back, don't want to buy it. She's just a freaky show-off. It's not good singing. I was willing to give her a chance, but I think not, now. Too harsh? Oh, well.

Siobhan was good -- Loved the end minus the Gokey scream in the middle. Beginning was shaky for me. Very end (after the Gokey scream) was nice.

I missed Kalan's -- soo good.. in just a sweater and jeans.

I'd put Siobhan first right now... Gokey scream notwithstanding.

I didn't hate Tim. And I kind of hate myself for not hating him. It didn't really work, but sometimes his voice has a really nice tone. Shoot me.

I think I both loved and hated Siobhan. She's so weird, I kinda love it, lol. The Gokey scream was not good at all (definitely sounded like a cat), but the a cappella ending was beautiful. At least the girl is interesting and not boring like most of the others.

If I had to rank these mostly horrible people, so far, I'd put Casey first, Andrew or Didi second -- probably Andrew second, Didi third. They were all good (not horrible). The rest, I don't know. Not interested in them, to be honest. Pretty bad.

9. Lee.

I was hoping he'd be good tonight, and he is. He still sounds really uncomfortably pitchy, to me, a lot of the time. I've heard this every time and I guess that's how he sings. I was hoping that might not be the way he sings. But -- very good, much better than he has been. I'm still rooting for him.

I kinda agree with Ellen on Lee, his voice was really good, but it was an almost performance. Lots of potential there but it just didn't quite get there for me.

and agree with Simon - Lee's nervous and it shows.

That's one thing I never really felt from Kris -- no matter how many times Simon said he needed confidence. I never thought Kris was lacking in confidence and it made the performances flow so much better.

I think his vocals were way better tonight, and I really liked that he used those different textures of his voice. My favorite performance of him so far. I agree with Simon though. The guy has to LET GO. He's so nervous. I just want to give him a big hug and tell him that he's good!

Yeah, he sounded really good on certain notes. I mean, really good. I have to agree. That's good, about him. I don't know if he's going to improve enough before the end of the season so that he sounds good most of the time, instead of randomly. He needs more experience, probably voice lessons. On the negative side I don't think he's good on tempo (I've noticed this every time. I don't think he's very musical), and I don't really think he's an artist. Just a singer.

That's one thing I never really felt from Kris -- no matter how many times Simon said he needed confidence. I never thought Kris was lacking in confidence and it made the performances flow so much better.

Kris always seems to love singing. On AI, it was like he was happy to be there. Think about how he bopped around to all the guest artists, for instance. He loves music so much. I actually felt baffled at Simon's criticism of Kris as unconfident -- I remember thinking Simon must have been making it up. At least when he was performing, Kris was so into the music. He looked very sure of himself.

10. Paige.

I try to be objective but it's hard when I really don't have any particular feeling for the person. Paige doesn't interest me. Yeah, she did a good job. A lot of the people this season, though, remind me of second-rate versions of people from other years. She doesn't have an extraordinary voice, and her pitch isn't great, so, if she doesn't have tremendous style, personality, or artistry, to make up for those things, I'm just basically waiting for her to get voted off.

You're right about that!

I have to give it to her, Paige was sounding good for a girl with laryngitis.

Aaron was also good. I think it was missing some grit or something, but he sounded pretty good.

Well, this isn't a trainwreck tonight, I'm almost surprised. Nobody was completely awful.

He did a nice job. Better than usual. Hard not to like him. He's kind of forgettable, overall.

12. Crystal.

Now, about her, I can be objective. Because she's not especially my kind of singer, but I can objectively say she is great. And I think the judges are just trying to create a competition by de-pimping her a little. And no, Siobhan was not better. Not. Not.

I love her for zinging Simon! Yay, Crystal.
