Big milestones today! Kris has the most airplay of the Idols... top 5 on HAC, top 10 on top 40, top 20 on AC, wow!

Oh, and Adam's album is platinum in Canada (already?). And here I thought Canadians had good taste. (Kidding. Sort of. I know you like Adam SleepinIn, but I know you have good taste, so it's okay!).

Just catching up on twitter...

I have some random '90s songs in my head right now, I wonder why... Aw, music from high school years.

David Cook and the Anthemic are apparently going to perform a Rolling Stones cover on Wednesday. Annnnnddd... fandom meltdown. Well, I didn't see the whole meltdown but it did happen. Gosh. Someone I follow RT'ed somebody else who said something like "Goodbye Cruel World, I'll go be a Kris Allen tard, where there appears to be some perspective". LOL. Let's say there's a tendancy to over-react sometimes.

Me? I'm like "You show them (the AI9 contestants) how it's done, boys".

So the David Cook fans are freaking out about the RS cover? He'll kick it's butt. I think season 9 could use a little help, so it's all good. It would've been nice to hear one of his songs though.

Adam's platinum in Canada? Wow. How many copies is that? 500, 000?

I like Siobhan. She is a bit nutty but she's interesting and can sing. I might ditch her later, but right now she's one of my remaining faves.

Someone on twitter this morning mentioned that Courtney Love was following Kris. And she is. I wonder if she knows who Leeds is or what's up with Jimmy Ray. Kris likes to mess with us, lol.

Well, thankfully, it's not that much, it's 80,000 copies.

Did somebody resolve the Leeds thing? I didn't get that reference at all. Jimmy Ray, I remembered because I obviously spent my teenage years glued to the radio, LOL.

I totally laughed at Jim's answers. First he responded "Who wants to know?", then he talked about OMC's How Bizarre and answered questions about his fave '90s band. Yay for one hit wonders.

I vaguely think I saw that video a couple of times (Jimmy Ray). How old is it?? (Oh. 1996, it says here. I liked Come On Eileen better. Good times.)

Just looked over the musical influences of the Top 12. Crystal is kind of predictable. I was hoping she'd say something counter to her image, that would make her more interesting to me, like Kris and Michael Jackson. If she'd said the New York Dolls, or Kajagoogoo . . .

Cat Stevens, was an interesting influence (Lee). Maybe he should try a Cat Stevens song. There are so many great ones.

It's interesting so many of them like Patsy Cline. (My late uncle's favorite.) She was an influence on k. d. lang, I think.

I think Andrew is the most interesting person there musically. For me. But he needs to sing something good soon.

Have you guys watched Kris's KL concert on YouTube? Good picture quality but I don't really like the sound.

So Simon managed Jimmy Ray? I wonder if Kris met him or something, or just came across something Jimmy Ray related at the office. That's funny.

It's a little sad that I like Tim's John Denver's reference right? John Denver was awesome on the Muppet Show. And Siobhan's Led Zeppelin/Ramones/Hanson trio is kind of irresistable.
