Kris' album has jumped up to #69 (from #131 this AM) on iTunes tonight. LLWD is up to #17. They showed his Ford commercial right after an auditioner sang To Make You Feel My Love (Kris' song from Country week last season) while standing in front of his picture. I thought when I saw that that it was probably the closest we're going to get to a pimp piece for him. Alright With Me, the song from Kris' album which is used on the Ford commercial, has now appeared on the Top Songs chart at #414.
I think we might get a pimp piece later in the season, but who knows? It's funny how these little moments create bumps in sales. Yeah, imagine if they gave him just 30 seconds of total pimpmericial. (By the way, why don't the record companies advertise the former contestants' albums on Idol? Too expensive? One ad for Kris's CD would mean a huge bumb, I'm sure.)
The following is kind of odd, but it illustrates one reason some folks get mean just because other people are happy. It reminds me of some nasties on the blog(s) who resent certain nice people. Kris Allen. Not that I think they post while drunk. Well, a few definitely do. It's kind of obvious. But I just mean people who aren't happy sometimes take it out on the happy ones. Like Kris Allen.
Jessica Sierra Drunk While on American Idol
Former American Idol finalist Jessica Sierra (left) admitted to being drunk while performing on the fourth season of the hit reality show.
Her downward spiral began when her mother died during the audition process, she tells Dr. Blogstein’s Radio Happy Hour.
“I couldn’t function for a day without being drunk.” Sierra said about her time on AI, “The drinking part, I think I could hide that pretty well, but I was a mean person. I was really mean to everybody. I just didn’t care.”
“I think I was particularly mean with Carrie Underwood (right). Our personalities just didn’t click. She was such a happy person all the time and I was so miserable and I had to take it out on someone.”
“I am sorry for being such a bitch.” she wants Underwood to know, “It wasn’t anything that she did other than being happy all the time. “

Rumor for Kansas is Mar. 18 for 96.3's Spring Fling. Kevin Rudolph will also be there which is interesting since he wrote with both Kris and Allison.
