No coat at all in 42 degree weather? Do you wear a bikini?

Bah! Okay, maybe a light coat.. gheesh. :)

Adam has landed in Toronto, he's going to be busy tommorrow, interviews with CHUM, Q on CBC and MOD, then the MTV interview too.

They aired an IQ test on CBC? That's funny!

I would wear a coat at 42 degrees, but not my winter coat. I think some people would almost go out without a coat here!

Yep, two hours. It was pretty rowdy. (lots of trash talking) They had groups of people and they said who tested better etc. Politicians, Nerds, Twins, contact sport athletes, Believers, and Atheists.

Nerds won. (shocking I know) :)

They tell you all kinds of statistics on the website about everyone taking the test online. It's interesting. (to me anyway, lol)

Adam has landed in Toronto.

Does he ever really land?

Someone said on MJ's blog, Archie always does a perfect anthem. I guess that's if you think he sounds good (in general) but I don't happen to think so. I find his tone really odd and unpleasant. Maybe it's that vocal chord thing he has. Anyhow, he sounds robotic, to me.

Kris is one of the few singers that ever went far on Idol who actually sounds to me like a human being, with a human, warm, rich tone. The main reason I never liked the show is nobody ever sounded like that, to me. David Cook is the other good winner, I'm glad Archie lost.

You know, Kris sounded so GOOD on the radio today. It's weird how when you hear a song on the radio it sort of has a life of its own.

SleepinIn, don't go over to you-know-where -- or do -- it's ridiculous! I'm always amazed when she says she has the best group of people on the internet. Who is she referring to? What internet would that be? The bizarro internet?

Apparently Kris is a Google trend, unfortunately everyone is searching "Chris Allen."
Hopefully they'll get it right.

Hey now.. lol

I've always thought Archie was a good singer, but at the same time he's one of the Idol singers I have no interest in listening to. I think he's a great person though. Just not for me musically.

and I agree radio really makes a difference.

No one can control Idol fans, seriously, I'd go insane trying.

LOL - typical.

I used to like Archie, thought he was a good singer, but, like you, never especially wanted to listen to him. I'm not talking about his personality one way or the other, just his singing. I hope I don't come across mean. I just started to have this experience lately. Whenever I hear Crush, about halfway through the song, I can't stand another second of it. Like torture. What can I say?

Hee, poked my head over there.

You know you don't get that kind of reaction unless it's fueled by jealousy. Lots of jealous types poking their nose in tonight. It was a big gig.

I'm glad you said that. Yeah, there was much envy. You can sort of tell there is, when people do the all-out criticism, or when people say "that was adequate." I mean, the guy did a good job any way you slice it. He may have started out like missaddicted said, maybe he was shaky, at first, needed to get his footing, a bit -- but that's really the only valid criticism that can be made. Kris always shows up and gets the job done. He's really reliable as a performer, he delivers. Being a reliable, consistent, professional performer is not at all a bad thing.

Hey, I didn't say that! I think SleepinIn said that, no? I just said he looked nervous since he was balancing from one feet to another.

You're right, it was SleepinIn that said that. Kris did look a little nervous.

I get worried about Kris going to Haiti. There could be disease, or even another quake. Plus there's that little thing called his career. He's only got, what? two weeks to rehearse and get ready for the Philippines. If he spends it in Haiti, I don't know. I suppose that's shallow of me, but after all he's just starting out and that concert is very important to establish him. Sorry, can't help it, I guess.

I'm sure Kris will be okay in Haiti. No doubt he'll be surrounded with people used with "disaster management". From what he said, I don't think he'll spend the whole two weeks in Haiti, didn't he say like a few days?

And the concert in the Philippines is a nice thing, but it's definitely for the fans there. Last year, when Cook and Archie went there, it had no repercussions in the media here. Though we'll probably have tons of videos to enjoy! I have no doubt that they'll do great!

It's okay if you feel worried and I don't blame you for feeling worried. I just feel so much admiration for Kris for going there, I don't think I would ever have the courage to. Not a lot of people would, I believe.

Yep it was me who said shaky at the beginning. (sorry) LOL.

Kris is definitely in the video - I remember seeing it way back when. He's the grey blur at 1:23, guy in white at 1:41, and again at 1:45. And see - we're not alone in the discovering the 10 faces of Eve. She or he hasn't been fooling anyone for a very long time.

I worry about his safety, but you're right Missaddicted I feel so much admiration too. I know I wouldn't have the courage to do that. I think that's a big part of who Kris is as a person though. Maybe even more so than music.

Look it's Adam and BEN!!! (I never listen to his countdown.. I am a bad fan of CI - lol)

Adam Lambert up early co-hosting the ETALK 20 with Ben this m... on Twitpic

That might be an interesting interview since I think Ben was one of the first to talk to Adam after the AMA's performance.

I just watched Adam on MOD. Lots of screaming teens, yikes (Beiber like intensity) Adam was really patient with them I have to say.

It's not every day that an International Superstar visits MOD. :canada:

They must have had a pretty good amount of coverage here, missaddicted. Because I remember it ( I wasn't following AI, or the Davids, then). I thought there were stories about the concerts, and the crazy, screaming fans, on the entertainment shows. I think so, anyhow.

Not sure I get what you mean, though. Those fans are important, too, right?

So from your reply I gather you read all those posts on Top Idol, SleepinIn? LOL

Oh, yeah, and if the asses on 'that' blog don't stop accusing our boy of going to Haiti to get publicity for himself, I really WILL have to boycott that place. How low are these cretins? Thoroughly disgusted. (And due to the wacked out rules, I can't respond to these creeps the way they deserve.)
