It airs next Sunday, at 8 (or 9, but I think it's at 8) on ABC. I haven't watched the show in a few years, but usually the concept is this: they choose a family that's been going through a lot (sick kid, mom just passed away, huge family living in a tiny house, etc), they send them to Disney World for a week and they rebuild and/or renovate their house. If the family has a kid in a wheelchair for example, they'll make sure to build an elevator and make everything accessible to them.
In the case of David's episode, the little girl in the family is sick (I don't remember what she has, but it's a chronic disease). She met a friend in the hospital who has leukemia and while sick herself, she's been raising money for cancer.
So, yeah, it's always really touching stories, and everyone cries when they reveal the rebuilt house.
