Isn't it awful seeing him anchored there to the mic in that song, though?

Well we only saw about a half a second of it. :) So I wasn't that upset. Kris was sitting on the stage for AWM so it's not like he didn't move at all. Anyway, I like the movement, but I tend to think Kris will change things up all the time anyway.

I agree, she has no brain.

LOL - how do you really feel? ;) I think a lot of the press up here was wildly pro-Adam so it's not surprising that Kris has had zero airplay in the Toronto market. So I'll take what I can get.

Going to tweet him now. Anything you want me to tell him for you?

You're disgustingly optimistic.

Kris you're awesome. Please don't annoy Ross. He gets testy, when you don't bounce.

Love me.

P.s. Bouncing is awesome. Guitar is awesome. Bouncing with guitar is awesome. Mix it up a little.. someday bring out the piano.

You're disgustingly optimistic.

It's a gift. What can I say? ;)

You still are! (Oh well, I guess that's why you're so fun to have around. :))

No, I think that stuff is awful. "Adam Lambert over Kris Allen was a no-brainer." I don't mind if people express a preference for Adam (or anyone else) over Kris. It's their opinion, or their taste. But saying it's a no brainer is like saying "It's just so obvious Adam is better than Kris." If it were phrased, "She preferred Adam over Kris," that's not an insult. The other way is a put down.

Hey, I'm not pissed off, I'm disappointed! Kris looked like a real frontman on CSA. I just don't want him to get sort of timid or maybe complacent and retreat to a more comfortable stance (literally and figuratively). Just like you wanted the brown plaid shirt to go, I want guitar-boy to go, to some extent. A lot of what people are saying about Kris being a surprisingly cool, surprisingly hip, surprisingly un-boring entertainer is based, I think, on his performances of CSA.

And now I'll stop beating this dead horse. Thanks for listening.

And yeah, I overreacted to the Toronto Star chick's opinion. BUT I think that still having to read this stuff SEVEN MONTHS later is taking its toll. Because just in case some Canadian were to forget about Adam Lambert for a moment and just concetrate on American Idol Kris Allen while reading that article, there it is on the sidebar -- the mention of Adam Lambert, and the Adam Lambert should-have-won comment. If you're going to interview Kris and Allsion, then do so, and give them a decent break. Adam wasn't there.

I have a friend who hates everything. She always wonders how we're friends. She amuses me - what can I say?

I do agree though. Plaid and guitar need to be retired every now and again.. and in the case of brown plaid from the tour.. need to be burned.

And WAOMF. That was another no guitar performance that he killed on.

And in the reporters defense that was a conference call interview so I think the Q&A's were compiled from a number of different questions that various reporters asked. No idea what she herself asked. I'm tired of the Adam questions myself and as tired of the How is your wife dealing with this question. Some of these folk just have no interest in asking interesting questions, they go for the easy out.

That's why I said to read the comments under the Top Idol article because I especially liked the comment about how it would be nice if some journalists had an original thought and stopped parroting the same old bull****.

The fact is, like me, many, many people are getting as tired of having Adam shoved down their throat as they probably were on Idol. I mean, seven months later? He did not win. So every article that repeats the same old crap is really directed at a public that did not choose to make this guy the Idol. So more of us disagree than agree. It's bizarre they don't get that.

What did you think of that woman who bought 2000 copies of Adam's album, or whatever it was?

While it's a nice sentiment.. it's completely crazy. Like completely.

SERIOUSLY... RED GUITAR!!!!

I mean the video is $1.99. Like save your pennies and then buy it if you're so hard up for cash. To buy 2000 of them.. that's nuts. I'm sorry. Donate to Adam's charity instead.

Oh, I don't believe for a minute she did this for any other reason than to boost his sales, do you? (And I'm willing to bet she's not alone among rich Glambert frauen in buying up album copies. Maybe they all aren't buying 2000, but they're buying way more than one).

As for that one-time concert, I definitely want Little Rock. It's the only place I can think of where Glamberts from all over the country won't be able to buy out the house and scream their heads off so that they can say Adam got more applause than Kris. I mean, they will still try to buy out the house and will still come from all over the country and will still scream like fishmongers, but at least in Little Rock some Kris fans might actually have a fighting chance to get in a scream or two.

Oh, I forgot to mention. I don't know why so many people (I think you, too, SleepinIn) don't like the song Lifetime. I love that song, mostly. I love the lyrics. The one part I never really liked is the "life's symphony" line (and how it's rhymed -- badly -- with the word it's rhymed with -- I forget it , right now). But overall I actually think it's a pretty great song -- and I really like how he sings it.

Lifetime is at the bottom of my list. Like the very bottom. I'd put the bonus tracks ahead of it. (...sorry) Kris seems to love it though too so you are not alone.
