Is it good or bad to have your numbers falsely inflated? (Well, it's not false if people buy real CDs with their real money. It's real enough. It doesn't matter who buys. But it's not exactly extending your popularity beyond your fan base. Or is that necessary?)

Holy Christmas. If Adam's Cd can't stay on the charts without his AI fans buying 47 copies each then it's doomed to failure. I love Kris, but 2 is my limit (I think) Seriously, the money will dry up or the fanbase will move on to season 9. Adam needs radio play and when he gets it (and he is with WWFM), the sales will come. They all need to gather the outside AI fans and the casual AI fans to keep the sales up. The Internet Idol fans are really a drop in the bucket in regards to sales.

So LLWD is halfway to gold, and it sold more copies than any Idol single the past week. And its ratings are solid. And I still like listening to it.

Well, Chik-fil-a is cool, though! I nearly ate there last week in honor of Kris, when I was at the mall, but it was a Sunday and Chik-fil-a is closed Sundays.

I'd never heard of Chik-fil-a before Kris. I've heard there is a pickle involved in their chicken sandwich.. do. not. want.

I loved the ugly sweater performance. So funny. Cale's was particularly nice, lovely sparkly tree motif. lmao.

I also loved the "first of many" comment from Dave.

We can think whatever we want about him, but Adam is good at diverting the attention. About his tour:

”I think it’s probably going to be springtime. I’ve started talking to management about putting something together. I think it’s not going to be a standard arena tour. I think we’re going to do something a little different. My big goal is I want to create a show. I want to do something that’s very visually dynamic, and is a little more interactive feeling than your typical arena tour. So we’re looking at venues that are probably going to be a little smaller and a little more intimate.”

There's no way, with the state of his actual sales that he would've been able to do an arena tour anyway. Or he would've had to pay a lot from his own pocket. His justification for doing something intimate probably sounds way more interesting than admitting that planning an arena tour would be incredibly risky at this point.

Adam is really good at slinging it, isn't he? I don't think I'd buy a used car from him.

I guess Kris and I like pickles. :) Seems like we'll just have to meet you two later, after we go to Chik-Fil-A together. I'll let you guys know all about it.

Kris sounded really good in that Letterman performance, and so did the band. They rocked the sweaters. People at work tell me that old-lady-Christmas-sweater parties are all the rage now (with people younger than me).

Oh, they are. Kris and the gang were very hip and happening last night. Some of the comments about the sweaters cracked me up completely. Especially from the people who weren't sure about Kris's fashion sense. lol

LOL. That picture was from VFTW.

So it seems Kris and band are supposed to be playing The Truth in Charlotte. I don't know why the song doesn't do much for me, but maybe the live performance will change my mind (if someone manages to get good video).
