I wish I knew if it was going up or down. I would say if it's as popular as it seems to be on radio it should start selling. But who knows? Is it odd at this point that it's not? Or is this about where you figure it ought to be? One thing that surprises me is how Uncle Kracker (who was at the same place on the chart as Kris for a while) stays steady in the thirties and forties.
On mj's they're linking to a Details magazine cover of Adam. The faithful are already trying to preorder it from Barnes & Noble. Just like with Rolling Stone. Maybe it's me, but when I want a magazine I just buy it when I go to the drugstore or supermarket, I don't have to pre-order it and then trek to B&N. I mean, Details is available everywhere. And it isn't all that popular. (I know, I know, they will cause the Adam issue to sell out. And I should let them have their fun. But they frakking bug the shat outa me! Ha. Yes, they do.) :lol:
Details is of course a men's lifestyle/fashion mag, a younger man's GQ. About ten years ago I won a backpack and a pair of Sennheiser headphones from that magazine when I answered the question, "Tell us what's in your backpack." Whatever I told them must have worked. (I was probably the only person who entered the contest.) (I still use those headphones to listen to stuff on my laptop -- the speakers aren't always loud. I still use the backpack, too, sometimes.) But I digress.
Apparently Adam is going to be in a photo spread for Details, with a woman. Doing some fairly sleazy stuff. Er, I meant sexy. No, I meant sleazy.
I think my patience is going to be sorely tried in the coming weeks. :roll:

Re: the single. I don't know where it should be I don't really think there's any way to tell. I think the radio play is fantastic, and IMHO much more important right now than charts. Sure I'd love it to be selling higher, but the more it's played the more it will sell. Video is coming too.. so that's good. I think the Dj response has really been phenomenal. From any of the DJ's I've heard play it.. I didn't get the sense that they didn't like the song, they've actually all been really positive about it. (except maybe Ryan Seacrest when he first talked about it - the ass)
It seems odd doesn't it that Adam is going to be in Details with a naked woman ? -- puzzling. Maybe they didn't feel they could do the naked guy thing given it's a men's magazine? I don't get the special orders thing either for a magazine. Unless you're ordering 20 for your closest friends. lol

Adam gets press in multiple formats it's all good. I just picture him laughing his ass off. Adam deserves the fuss, he's a good guy. According to someone on mj's he's possibly his tune. Apparently today he praised the song, and replayed an edited version of his interview with Kris on the Top 40 show. Some free publicity (and I suspect they may be expecting it to enter the Top 40 soon).

I just admitted on mj's blog I find Adam boring. Because someone said "no one finds him boring." (I know: "Oh, ross!")
But I do. I always have. His fans are fascinating, but not him. Every time someone says that, I always think of Jacob. Jacob has never, for one second, ever been boring, to me. Probably because he's a psychopath.
Adam is dull as dishwater for me. He's never done one unpredictable thing. I know people say Kris is boring, but actually he's not. He's not predictable at all. Oh, yeah, he has his predetermined interview answers, etc., but actually I find him surprising all the time. Adam is predictable. He's great, but he's not interesting.
